Last week, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that Jackson was under investigation for allegedly misusing campaign funds to decorate his home and to buy a $40,000 Rolex watch for a female friend. Reuters has not confirmed the report.

He is gone officially, but still not convicted of anything.

On Wednesday, Jackson saluted that "unwavering support" in a letter to House Speaker John Boehner announcing his resignation from Congress.

He got elected a first time. What does that say about his constituency?

Listening to WLS yesterday was a hoot. Apparently the black leaders don't want to split the black vote with multiple candidates. They are afraid whitey will win if this happens.


He won the latest election with 63%. Illinois 2nd district.

Jesse is living large at honkeys expense.

Records from former U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.’s divorce case show how he has been able to collect hefty benefit checks from the federal government after serving time in prison for looting hundreds of thousands of dollars from his campaign fund.

Jackson, 51, receives about $138,400 a year — more than he made as a freshman congressman in 1995. Most of that — about $100,000 — is workers’ compensation and tax-free, according to Chicago attorney Barry Schatz, who is representing Jackson in his divorce proceeding.

The rest of Jackson’s benefits are Social Security Disability Insurance payments, some of which may be taxable, Schatz said.

The payments flow to Jackson because he has bipolar disorder and depression — the issues that led to an extended leave from Congress in 2012…

So all someone has to do is get a shrink to sign off on their 'bipolar disorder' and 'depression' and then they become eligible for over $138k/year?

What gets me is how is he collecting both workmans comp and SSI.
I thought you could only get one or the other.
