Back in the day as kids we had the movie hero's that fired out imaginations and such.

Also when we were out in the street, acting up and goofing off nothing much was done to us, fights

Kids in school are put on drugs because they act out, so that is not considered normal, so drag out the Ritalin and give them a dose. Get them going on meds early like a huge part of the adult population.

My favorite cartoon? The Last Airbender - a world where anyone proficient enough in martial arts can move the basic elements themselves. Wars are fought with Ice, Fire, Earth, and Air, and all technologies are powered by these as well.

The show Deals with themes like friendship, honor, duty, responsibility....and maintaining physical and mental strength in the face of impending disaster. Major theme? Nobody is strictly good or evil - you are either in balance, or out of balance. Anybody can be saved if they want redemption, nobody is beyond redemption, but at the same time some people are so psychotic they need to die. Heavy message for a "kids" show.
