Love Estes Park. Great town and the Elk just add to the charm.

It won't be like that for long. The wolves from hell have been introduced into Colorado. We got them 16 years ago and we're down to about 10% of our original Elk population.

That has to be insane having that many elk around town...and through the best 6 months of the year. I wonder how many get hit driving at night? I'm sure they leave some pretty good piles of shit where ever they go too.
On the plus side, it's probably entertaining seeing the dumb asses that think these beasts are pets, get gored and hooved by the big bulls. The locals must get a kick out of it.
