This happened this morning, the text is part of a message to a friend that I sent today!

I "have a summertime outside cat, she absolutely will refuse to come in during warm weather period! But when it gets cold she wants in NOW! Cat + cold = No Go!

This morning cat wanted out, I opened the door, cat takes running start from middle of the room. Cat hits the threshold and it was almost the same as her hitting a wall!

I figure as soon as cat's nose hits cold air the brakes come on in emergency mode! She will get used to the cold , but the way the temp varies cat thinks it was good last night so it must be good this morning.

It was funny to me, she usually is very reserved and regal.

The low here today is the coldest so far for the year, 28°f not much but it was enough this morning. That cat asked to be let out 5 times, and other than the crash stop the first time. Every other time she would walk up to the threshold and stick her nose out, and then turn around and say no way I am going out there!

Tho the last time the temp was abt 35°F and she did go out finally."

Ya me too, that cat looks like my older cat named Cat, but it's coat is over my younger cats body (named Coon) I think I'm going to whip up some ball tied to the floor and see what happens.

ping pong balls are also good fun. Cat's can play a bit of soccer with them and the ricochet all over the place.
