People do all kinds of weird things for fun. The guy in this video just so happens to go to the bank, take out hundreds of dollars in dimes and sort through them in his down time. The point? To find silver dimes amongst their copper doppelgangers. He can get $2 for every silver dime depending on the current rates, and he averages one silver dime for every hundred dollars. The highlight of this video was when he found two silver coins in one roll, helping him find a whopping five silvers in his bounty. With $440, he made $10. “If I left a hundred dollars in the bank for a year, it might make a few cents in interest, but if I kept taking that same $100 out over and over again I could double or triple it with these silver dimes” he said. Who needs mutual funds?
