I'm surprised at how small they are. Perhaps all the bigguns have been taken for that season. They say truffles are worth up to $2000 a kilo. Thats $1000 a pound. No doubt it would take a fair few truffles to make up a pound.

Basically it's Truffle Oil. You just add a couple drops (this stuff is strong) of it AFTER cooking to your favorite meals (typically Italian food). It will add a whole new level of flavor. You can get White or Black. White usually is more expensive and has a more refined flavor, while Black is more earthy. Both are excellent though.

When I cooked for the ultra rich we would have tiny little mandolines, and would do ultra thin slices of them onto people's food in person. Really neat stuff.
