so i was thinking all doom & gloomy
regarding the cities that flouride their water supply
i was wondering if some of the big cities have FINAL INSTRUCTIONS to open the flouride taps during the final collapse
1 - anything is possible
2 - C-g, your tinfoil hat is on too tight

I imagine things we haven't even dreamed of will be done.

hey, don't give them any more ideas! Is too much flouride fatal or cause permanent brain damage?

The water suppliers do not need to do anything here, fluoride is naturally in the soil and water, if one wants to remove it, filters are the only option.

It's safe to assume the level in the ground is lower than what is coming out of my tap. Otherwise they wouldn't be adding to it would they? I think the worry here is the level of fluoride being turned up to toxic levels...not that it's present.

A different flouride entirely than that which is produced by industry as toxic waste.

Hi Canadian Guerilla. I have been thinking of this for years, punishing myself for suspecting such a deep, dark evil of those in a position to enact such a crime against humanity. However, lately I have become aware of the very real possibilities. And I no longer feel the need for the tin hat.
All it takes is one person in the wrong position of control to cause a crime against humanity. We have seen this occur throughout history. Why not now ?
For many years I’ve read articles about the dangers of fluoride compounds and endeavored to stay away from treated water as much as possible. Lord knows, I have enough trouble with cognitive functions as it is.
This is why I have a 2,500 gallon water tank hooked up to my well and have purchased two 3,500 gallon water tanks for additional backup. They aren’t hooked up yet but I am trying to have them fixed as soon as possible. Who knows, maybe only those with wells will be able to provide their communities with safe water.
My question is, who is monitoring the concentration of the fluoride in the municipal water supply on a daily basis ? Is the fox guarding the henhouse ?
Still seems a bit paranoid but the cost for safety for my family and neighbors hasn’t been overwhelming. So I prepare, knowing that the odds are near zero but if it comes true it would affect us 100%.
And let’s not forget the Fu*k-u-shi*-ma radiation spill as it continues. Will clean water be worth its weight in gold ? As far as Ponce and I can tell, water is already there. It is just a screaming bargain at this time in history and only time will reveal to all. Like love lost, the impact isn’t felt until it is over. Too late.
Best wishes,
agnut

I'll pick #1. They got away with 9/11, 7/7 (London), multiple illegal wars, financial fraud/theft, geo-engineering (chemtrails), frankenfoods (Monsanto), vaccinations of death, its endless. So I wouldn't be surprised if they had "fluoride taps" to open.......... lol

Thanks Mneagle. I have been going through a lot of personal challenges the last few months while at the same time prepping as much as I can. Which brings up an interesting point :
Isn’t prepping somewhat like leadership by example ? And if so, shouldn’t others respect what we have done rather than being envious and angry ? There is an old cowboy saying of which I am fond, “When pointing a finger at others, there are three fingers pointing right back at you.”
My overview of this envy and anger is that they are manifestations of a moral and spiritual breakdown among humanity. And this is why it may appear that we preppers are cold hearted in saying that we will ”pull up the drawbridge” and shoot anyone who tries to take away what we have “hoarded”. I dislike that word when its in connotation of selfishness and meanness is directed toward us preppers. Nothing could be further from the truth. We prep in order to take care of ourselves and our loved ones. And to help strangers who may be in need. Planning for the future is in our genes; even the lowly ant plans for the future. Are we stupider than the ant ? It would seem so for much of humanity. History bears our the fundamental fact that those who prep have a better chance of survival through the tumultuous times.
Will the horde be after your hoard ? Indubitably, since we are talking about hunger and survival. So what to do to defuse this ? The best answer I have is to prep for the children first and their parents second because with enough parents to help protect our preps, the group will survive. Probably not as long as if we were to go it alone and try to defend ourselves against all comers. The tradeoff would be increased security against less time before preps run out. This is why I have a ton of wheat and over 700 pounds of rice along with a few tons of other food preps. And I’m thinking of getting a whole lot more. I intend to share it with those who know me but first the children must be taken care of. This will create a sense of order, purpose and therefore determination in those I help. If that fails, I surely would have failed anyway if I tried to “hoard” it for myself exclusively. Can you understand that ?
I look to the future with hope in helping others. I have no fears in doing what I believe is right and moral. Perhaps at the root of all the preppers’ fears is that not sharing and looking out for others is morally wrong and selfish. Sure I may die in running out of food preps but at least I wouldn’t die in a futile attempt to fight off those starving around me. Another point is that I know that I cannot stand by and watch others starve while I still have plenty. Especially children. It would feel like having fingernails dragged across the blackboard of my soul.
So I ask you who read this to at least consider the possibility that you may be called upon to help another at your own expense. It could be a stranger or it could be a child, an innocent child who had no ability to prep. Without children we have no future. Many species will protect children to the death. Will you ?
My last point is a few questions to ponder. If things fell apart in a big way like what happened with the recent disastrous hurricane Sandy where millions had no electricity, water, food, heat and shelter; what would you do with you preps ? Would you hole up and defend against all comers ? Or would you share with your neighbors ? Maybe some of us preppers would be afraid to share, not knowing how long the disaster would continue and our preps would run out before help arrived in one form or another. Are we our brothers’ keeper ? Well, that is a decision each one of us will have to make.
Several years ago I was living in southern California when Santa Ana winds drove a fire through our area. It was fast moving and deadly. We had only a couple of hours to evacuate. My son and I loaded up the truck with irreplaceable items and took off. We slept in the parking lot of an Indian casino that night and returned the next day to see homes burned to the ground, homes that were within walking distance of my place. Nothing left standing but the brick chimneys. My duplex was saved as well as those around me. We were without electricity for days afterward. I went to the local supermarket which also had no electricity. I talked to the manager and he made me a great deal on a stack of frozen pizzas. My son and I took them home and cooked them up in our gas stove and went knocking on neighbors’ doors, shouting “Pizza guy”. People came to the door in consternation saying “I didn’t order any pizza”. We laughed and told them that they were freebies. The pile of pizzas were cooked and delivered in short order. Thereafter I became known as the pizza guy. HaHa
The next night I organized a street party. Everybody showed up with food and wine. Some youths brought a battery operated stereo and we had a ball. The party lasted into the night as many neighbors got to know each other for the first time. .
A few days later the electric came on and the world returned to “normal” (whatever the Hell that is). It was sort of a downer for me; I was having too much fun. If you can get outside of yourself and look to helping others, your fears will go away.
After moving to the Pacific northwest, a storm came through and took out the electric lines for a week. My elderly neighbors didn’t have any lamps, cooking gear or heaters so I loaned them my spares in the garage. Yes, that’s right, I have multiples of many things. A plan behind the plan behind the plan (another Ponce saying).
It would be nice if I could have some electricity in the future. I want to be able to show DVD movies on a big screen, maybe a projector. This is partly why I have over a thousand DVDs. So a Faraday cage for the components would be in order. Nothing like a good comedy to soothe the savage beast. Anyway, that is low priority right now. But I may regret not having done that someday. Who knows, what with all the uncertainty here and throughout the world.
Crises should be appraised as to their severity and then acted upon accordingly. If not too severe, they may be an opportunity to make new friends. A little kindness goes a long way. And generosity is like a boomerang; it always comes back.
Time is short and I still don’t have my diesel generator hooked up to the battery bank or the extra water storage tanks filled. At least the battery bank is hooked up to the inverters and they all work well.
Our 4 cows are getting fat and one or two will be ready for the freezer next fall. I expect that meat prices will be much higher by then. Then there could be availability problems as well as contamination problems. So many uncertainties that need to be put in their places in order to focus upon what is really important. To me that is my family and the people around me. We have been living in our bugout location for just over 5 years now and still not finished. But as Ponce is fond of saying “To be ready is not”. So I guess I will never (and should never) be fully ready.
Our two beefalo have been in the freezer for a while now and I have been searching for someone to trade their fish for our beef. So far I have two men trading fresh and smoked fish and a possible third for more fresh fish. You see, I have over 500 pounds of beef in the freezers and cannot consume all of it before it may become too gamy to enjoy. I’m giving it away and trading it as best I can.
Just found a lady who may teach me to can up meats and veggies. I have over 800 Mason jars and get about a ton of produce per week. Last week I got 320 pounds of persimmons. Gave some away and our cows loved them too.
You don’t have to be a Christian to ask yourself “What would Jesus think of what I am doing ?”. But it helps.
Best wishes,
Agnut
P.S. Randymatt is alive and well. I’m proud to say that he and his wife are friends of mine. A couple of REAL characters (but you didn’t hear it from me) !
