Serpo, although more unstable than asia, africa too could offer great opportunities... but I digress, the word "unstable" doesnt mean anything at this stage.

Asia, and specially China, will be the real future leader of the "New World Order" but it will be nothing like the power that was wanted it to be...... the end of the US as we know it is coming to and end.... get used to it and adapt yourself for what is to be.

What about Australia?
I've been getting hits for work there, seems they want cheap immigrant labor there :) Guess they are still growing?
Less of a language barrier too.

I run my power off of solar (period) , My water heater's are on demand meaning they use power and propane, they have workied fine for 12 years, very little power or propane. I fill the propane tank 1 time every 2 years, the solar is constant.

I think Serpo is on the east coast Oz or maybe NZ at the moment. I have contacts in Thailand and they are telling me there is a lot of investment going in there. A lot of big multi nationals are setting up shop there. A lot of investment in production facilities. They have been after me to take a serious look at moving there. I haven't seen thailand since maybe 20 years. Trying to remember. Maybe 15 years. I'm told while the city is still a shambles it's much much better than it was. I'm not really interested in relocating or even crossing borders for that matter so I might stay where I am. I'm investigating developing an agency there but other than that the opportunities would have to be pretty darn good. Too many things to give up I think and I'd hate to get caught half way across the globe if everything went pear shaped.
I could use a lower cost of living though. I think we pay about double for everything these days compared to other 1st world countries.... maybe excluding scandanavia.
Solar is big down here. Solar Hot water has been around since the 70's that I recall. We used to have a big unit that worked great. Water was always scolding hot. Winter might need a bit of a heating boost.

Must be the reason why they keep hunting us down to do jobs for them, the labor rates must be double there then also.
So there's still a reasonable rate of growth to the economy there?
You can still get Silver at 30 U.S.?
If its 60, I'll bring a 100 :)

Philippines would be interesting. My reaction is similar to yours for Thailand. I'm dubious the opportunities there are that good in my area. That's why they are telling me to go and see for self. When I was there last the country had just run out of money and were going into a recession. I think that cost them 10 years all up but I think they are over it now. No Japanese example for them. I have just enough on here and some new projects hopefully to add soon. If that all comes to fruition it looks ok going forward. I don't need the heat, noise or people. I'm stuck in the mud you might say.
Sounds like apple country

So Serpo is already in Australia?
I remember a guy I mentioned gold to about 10 yrs. back told me he was going to Australia to sell gold to the Chinese about 5yrs. ago.
Maybe a mining investment scam, not sure?
