Upon their rediscovery:
Religion would have an entirely different narrative with entirely different players, and entirely different conclusions. All of it would play out depending on the state of society of the time in question. Random as random gets.
Science would be rediscovered to be exactly the same as it was. All conclusions, and discoveries, revelations etc would be precisely identical.
Food for thought. Very sobering realization.
