View Full Version : TSHTF 2012 - Seems like America's Collapse has become More Like a Step Function

"Step Function" - a math term.

The very rapid growth of the US Money Supply in recent years - that is a step function.

There are good step functions.

A good step function - somebody starts living healthy, there is a step function 'down' in their blood pressure, an increase in their physical and mental activity.

Step Function is a mathematical concept. The increase in physical activity might relate to a step function increase in the number of miles they walk.

And there are bad step functions. Which is really what this post is about - what I am witnessing & have witnessed in the US in 2012.

We have all written about the cancerous growth of the American Jew-S Police State. The deterioration that we witness in our various industries - American "Medicine", American Finance, American Biotech. American whatever.

THEY HAVE ALL COLLAPSED, and what we now witness are the Zombie Corpses of all those organizations continuing to put one foot in front of another, continuing to bill customers, pretending that they are rendering services to customers.

The one industry I was going to list as not collapsing is IT - Computers.

Ohhh ... Ahhh ... Anybody heard about HP ? Lost 3/4 of their market value since the last time I looked. I'm not a major HP watcher. I checked their market cap earlier in the year. It was over $100 Billion.

Microsoft. They just lost most of their long-term customers, with the roll-out of Windows 8. The only way they can sell software now is by forcing their Operating System upon people who buy new computers.

I could go on. Autodesk, an IT company that makes CAD and animation software - I just went out of my way (spent a few $Thousand) to revert to a 2008 version of their software. I don't want their new software. I want their old software.

Perhaps they can find someone else to convince to buy their new software ?

What we can do - step away from it. Eat a healthy dinner. Get a good night's sleep. Get up in the morning, KICK ASS, do what you're good at.

And do not be frazzled when half the organizations around you collapse. If they collapse owing you money - don't let it raise your blood pressure.

Long story short, in the industries where I participate more as a worker, and industries where I participate as a customer, I don't see Ghosts, like that kid in "The Sixth Sense".

I see COLLAPSE. It's not my imagination. It is real. It's rate has increased, dramatically, in 2012.

Right now, today, November 2012 - This is what TSHTF really looks and feels like.

We've already had the Humongous Earthquakes, the Tidal Waves, the Fukushima, BP's destruction of the entire Gulf of Mexico, Israel's incineration of Gaza.

My gut feeling, is that we are really in the middle of TSHTF right now. This is what we have been preparing for.

I wish Godspeed to all my fellow members. Thank God for you and your Honesty. :)

No news is good news, hasn't been in many many years, thus why I don't read it or watch it. It will drag you down as it is intended to. I chose to read or watch what I choose to, not the propaganda force fed to the sheeple, cannon fodder, useless eaters. I truly believe most of us here do not fall into these categorys.

Zoomed out, an exponential function looks a lot like a step function.

As far as income goes this has been the worst year I've ever had since, well since I've been collecting a paycheck.

People in Government & Doctors seem to be doing well... .. .-

Most of my associates and customers are starting to burn down through their life savings, then stringing along to the next job.

Basically cashing out, then onto some form of partial early retirement.

Hey driller, get this add on for AutoCad so you can open up newer versions of drawings. DWG Gateway, Plenty of download sites. Still using V2002 here.

Trueview download is free from Autodesk and lets you save back.

I have a 2007 version, the 2012 takes like 4 minutes to open up then wants 64bit operating software. How stupid of Autodesk to sign its own death warrant, I've been using for like 25yrs. and now they blew it. Many others are just waiting in the wings to replace them as the standard.

Don't they know they're messing with my livelihood?

When did they come out with Trueview? I've been using gateway for about 5-6 years. I am guessing that they made Trueview to compete with addons made by users.

Beats asking architects to save to an earlier version.

Well even their save function is backwards ass in Trueview, and you need to give access to computer through some proxy to get it.(is like some stupid Facebook equivalent interface). I may try your gateway

Something catastrophic does have to happen in silicon valley, everything down here is bootleg (no license). If you guys need anything rendered I can get a Tico to do it here for something like $200, same work done in the U.S. would probably run you around $2500 minimum.

Insurance companies trying to track all those software licenses in U.S. is never going to translate well over to the 3rd world economies. Its like two different worlds open up, one pirate & private, the other licensed & governmental.

I used to see the the economy, statist issues being accomplished in steps but for awhile now it looks and feels like a full fledged free fall. Maybe hitting the ledges on the way down counts as steps?

You will run into some things that may not come through. I forget the screen that pops up. It could be texts and formats that are not apart of your system.

I know a guy that up until 2 years ago still used R94. He didn't need to upgrade with the add on. He had the newer versions, but if it ain't broke...

I haven't used the add on to open up rendered drawings. Everything that I open up is for line work.

one small step for a man (Obama), one giant Leap of (Economic & Societal) Disintegration for Mankind ?

i like what Liberty tree said -
>> "Maybe hitting the ledges on the way down counts as steps?"

we each hit the ledges at our own time, in our own way.

However, unlike the old story about the 3 blind men looking at the elephant, although we witness different parts of collapse, we all have the feeling that we are watching something collapse.

independent observers arriving at near-identical conclusions - a good indicator that heavy Shite is "going down".

in my case, i had a double whammy - exposure to smoke from combustion of Barium Chloride & Strontium salts. (many more details to share about that.) my instinct was to take extreme measure to avoid the smoke - and i was prevented from doing that, and therefore exposed to the smoke from the combustion of about 1 1/2 grams of heavy metal salts, about 2 weeks ago.

to date, i have seen 3 doctors about that. the appointment i had yesterday was what inspired my original post. i have never met such an arrogant doctor - he used the stethoscope to listen to my breathing. i asked him when he was going to look at my mouth, tongue, and throat (i have felt like i am smoking a half pack of cigarettes a day since the initial exposure). it was on a list of 2 reasons for the appointment.

he not only refused to do that, the doctor told me to my face that he had just examined my mouth, tongue, and throat.

since that usually involves a tongue depressor, a light, and saying, "AHHHH", i was extremely surprised. well, i was shocked, just, blown away. like watching the twin towers fall. the "doctor" just lied to my face, told me he had just examined me when no such exam occurred.

i was dumb-struck.

it wasn't medicine, it was someone with an MD going through the motions, possibly trying to protect the organization that exposed me to the smoke from the heavy metal salts, lying to my face - then handing me a bill for $200+, as if daring me to "do something about it" (e.g. report them for falsifying medical records.)

it was like receiving a telegram telling me that, for all practical purposes, medically, i am entirely on my own.

i am quite accustomed to the concept of crooked MD's, for i have watched 200+ injured LASIK patients go through their various post-surgical complications - and i have had access to many of their medical records. i have heard THEIR stories.

but it was very shocking for me to witness similarly arrogant behavior from a General Practitioner. it was like, "here is the state of Medicine" - maybe 1% functional.

i, in turn, profusely thanked the doctor & doctor's assistant who performed normally. they were surprised, like, "well, we're just doing our jobs". well, just doing their jobs, they were the best medical practitioners i have watched practice in the last 5 to 10 years. i tried to let them know that they are super-stars in my book.

this PM i will be going back to see the original doctor who diagnosed me with "Glossitis" (inflammation of the tongue, he said it was very red), to get a re-fill of liquid cortisone.

the only conclusion i can draw is that, together, we are on our own. Hence the gratitude i expressed in my first post (for the fellowship here at G-S.us )

i have watched medical institutions collapse.

i have watched educational institutions collapse.

i could go on, but you get the idea.

this morning, as usual, my alarms went off at 4 AM and 4:30 AM. i went for coffee at the Internet cafe at 5 AM. i did a few errands. i went swimming, because it's good for my head, and i know i need to defend my health like one of GoD's most vicious guard dogs.

i then traded a 1/10 ounce AGE for a rotary table for a milling machine, and some 1/8" square steel stock. (a 2 lifetime supply, 1/2 of which i will be trading for some 1/4" square steel stock.)

i then meditated in a warm wet place - aka a hot bath, to lower my blood pressure without drugs, and to center & focus my mind.

in a half hour i will go and do a few more errands.

i don't feel alone. i feel like i have to be REALLY self-sufficient.

getting back to the subject of medical care - i am thinking it would be wise to re-fill my supply of anti-biotics.
