Not so funny. Those clerks aren't responsible for taxation, yet he makes them all work until 5:30, just to be a dick. That doesn't accomplish anything, even if he gets other people to do the same thing. The manager handled the situation with remarkable courtesy and grace, even after she learned the guy didn't "collect" the pennies, but rather got them from the bank, just to add misery to the lives of 15 innocent people that have not control over taxation laws. She's the most admirable person in the video.

I fail to see what this accomplished. He still paid his tax. Isn't it much like trying to teach a pig to sing? It's a colossal waste of time and all you're going to do is to annoy the pig.

If everyone did this then the pig would get very annoyed.

At least this guy is out there protesting.

The so called clerks are working for the tax dept and collecting the tax for them.

Peaceful Civil Disobedience....good shit.

Yeah, so those people had to count some pennies, it's likely the most they've had to do for their checks since getting on the dole.

Don't like being a "public servant"? Finding a more dignified, respectable line of work is always an option.

And precisely what does that accomplish when dealing with 'clerks' (the lowest level of gov.org worker)? You're apparently not a student of Master Sun. You don't antagonize the enemy's troops, you either 'change their colors' (bring 'em over to your side) or destroy them. Period. Antagonizing them only strengthens their resolve, no matter how wrong they may be.

At least this guy is out there protesting.

And this 'protesting' is different from pissing into the wind? How so?

The so called clerks are working for the tax dept and collecting the tax for them.

Again, these clerks are at the absolutely lowest level in the gov.org food chain. I bet they got overtime. Score!

The entire concept is completely asinine. Wanna 'protest' and NOT pay taxes on your automobile while giving them the finger? Don't get pay for 'registration' on your automobile and don't renew your DRIVER LICENSE. Yeah, I realize that only those of us who really have balls of steel are capable of such things. lol The guy in this video was a 'brave coward'. "Oh look! He confronted the beast by PAYING HIS TAXES IN PENNIES! He's so brave and courageous!" lololololol

screw paying illegal taxes to governments.

The way to screw 'em is to simply not pay 'em.

And how do you come up with this notion that paying 'taxes' on a 'motor vehicle' is *illegal*?? ??? You should know by now that if an automobile is 'registered' to the state then that automobile has been rendered a 'motor vehicle' (SPECIFICALLY defined as 'commercial' in Title 18 USC) with the state holding said motor vehicle in a cestui que trust which reduces the 'possessor' of the 'motor vehicle' to merely owning an 'interest' in the car as a 'beneficial owner'. See what happens when the state doesn't get their 'rent' (tax) 'legally' due* for their 'motor vehicle'. (*or any of the other obligations as a result of that relationship)

"The terms title and interest are not synonymous." --Black's Law Dictionary, 4th Ed.
