I'd have to agree on the not smoking at a young age. Same as drinking. Definitely not doing yourself any favors by repeatedly messing with your brain chemistry while it's still developing.

I love the way they trot these tools out to give their "unbiased" opinion on the new law. The people have made it clear that they're in favor of pot legalization yet these employees make front page news because they don't like the new freedom voted in by the majority. Maybe this drug agent should seek other employment or move to New York where everything is illegal and cops can break heads with impunity...for the children of course

That article claims that "brains are still developing up to age 25" which relative to pot is utter bullshit. And I know of tons of people who smoked pot and drank (although not excessively) before they were 18 and they turned out to be relatively well adjusted adults, many of them having awakened to all the horseshit going on around them due to their experiences.
By far the BIGGEST negative influences on a developing brain in a child/young adult are bad parenting and virtually EVERYTHING the beast system throws at young people including but certainly not limited to vaccines, GMOs, pesticides, fluoride, processed foods, food additives, a 'public education', video games, movies, teevee, etc., etc. Gawd how I love irony.

Then kids better not eat food from the grocery store either.
Or drink/use water from the tap.
Sure, smoking pot may not be ideal for children, but fluoride and the awful shit in the food can't be doing too many favors either.
Just saw this post:

The reason the beast doesn't want "young people up to age 25" experiencing pot is because it will very likely wake them up and set them on the course of becoming more and more aware and questioning authority over the course of their entire adult life.

Sure, there's lots of parallels to draw, and lots of angles to choose from, but being a substance abuser during teenage years is definitely a class 1 ticket to mess up your potential in life. There's really no denying it.
Weed is what it is, but it isn't completely harmless per se. I did it. Would I change that reality to offset it by about 8 years if I could go back?
Absolutely.

I am thinking the guy is wanting to drum up business support so either he or some of his cohorts keep their jobs.

Looks like the drug war infrastructure and the drug war careerists are having difficulty dealing with legalization more than the people who use marijuana. If a majority of people vote to legalize the stuff despite extreme doses of MSM anti-drug bullshit about it, then these people need to understand that their prohibition is a losing battle--no longer worth fighting. I'm sure they will start getting support (if they are not yet getting it) from the Mexican drug cartels who have an economic interest in prohibition--just as they have a career interest in it. If it's this hard for them to give up their war on drugs, just think how hard it will be when it's time to call off the war on terror. I think these people are addicted to grinding people up in their legal machinery and prisons. That, in my opinion is an extremely dangerous addiction and should be treated as a crime.

Sure, legalize it. I know more about it than pretty much anyone you'll ever meet. Great to have it legal, like a lot of things, but it ain't daily vitamins.

It's not rocket science, but it is a science, and far from extraordinary.

You make a(n) (extraordinary) claim, yet you fail to provide ANY evidence to substantiate that (extraordinary) claim. Pretty lame.
I've seen many more benefits from the use of MJ than anything (which can be *proven* to be harmful) - for one thing pot is highly effective in eliminating hypertension, amongst many other positive attributes.

Evidence?...LOL...nice try man. Really....slow methodical golf clap for that.
Put it this way, if you need any substance outside of sound nutrition, and exercise to help you be, and feel, excellent all the time, then you're simply doing it wrong.
You messed up somewhere along the way.
You can try to argue that, it will be amusing though.
