How can you tell if you're suffering mental illness?

Here's a checklist for your own self-diagnosis so you can determine whether you're in need of seeking professional help:

You don't trust what the corporate media tells you
You harbor 'conspiracy theories' regarding the events of 9/11
You betray our troops by not enthusiastically and wholeheartedly supporting our foreign military actions
You suffer delusions that the election process using electronic voting is somehow 'rigged'
You think cops are not trustworthy and often act like lawless thugs without any restraint whatsoever
You think judges are corrupt
You think that politicians are only concerned with serving those who can advance their careers and fortunes
You own guns which have no real sporting or hunting purpose and were designed strictly as devices for killing humans
You own more than 50 rounds of ammunition
You have 'storage food' stored away for 'coming hard times'
You think our good friends the Israelis have nefarious plans
You think the bankers are conspiring to rob you of your substance
You visit internet discussion forums where posters post about all the above nutjob issues, or even more whacko nutjob conspiracy 'theories'
.......

(feel free to add to this list)

If you have experienced any of the above, it is highly recommended you seek professional mental health help IMMEDIATELY!

As long as these things are considered an illness, it's OK. The real mental illness will be apparent when the people who run this society consider these qualities to be crimes. It's sort of like trying to decide who is mentally ill in the context of the war on drugs. Is it the people who use drugs, or the people who consider drug use to be a crime. The deciding factor is public support. When the vast majority of people are insane, then the definition of insanity changes.

A good example of a pre-emptive ad hominem attack on beliefs. Anyone who believes such and such is looney. Most people have no idea how well this kind of psy-ops manipulates them, yet it really shuts them up.
