Here's a story to brighten your day chad.

I shot some sporting clays yesterday with a Father and his two teenage kids, son and daughter. They enjoyed themselves too.

When someone is that emotional at just asking a legitimate custion.

You know the sheep are ripe for shearing and slaughter

Moved it to more appropriate thread!

And I agree that a sales person should keep their opinions verbal or not to themselves.

It's times like that I like to ask extra questions while acting completely natural just to squeeze it out of them.

You're spending money there, and any attitude can go take a flying f-ck. No change of attitude or apology, express your discontent and reasons why, if still no apology, next person I'm talking to is the one who signs the paychecks.

No anger necessary, just the truth of the matter.

My usual retort to this kind of behaviour is "So remind me, why should I give a flying fuck about your opinion about anything?"

Methinks a bona fide gun store would have welcomed you and your purchase with open arms, that is, if their lines were not already too long.

I've tried calling my friends at the little hole in the wall gun store they own, they don't bother answering the phone any more, it goes straight to VM.

If the crowd at the gun show this weekend was indicative of sentiment around the country then there was indeed many lines into the gun shops. I thought a lot of guns, ammo, mags were flying out the door before the election, that wasn't anything compared to what we saw the last two days!

Thank God people are starting to treat this with Red Alert status.

Ammo and hi cap mags are Golden now.

after they sold it to me, she called for manager, and he walked me out of the store. wouldn't give me the rfile until we were in the parking lot, and then i was told not to re-enter the store. not sure is this is standard procedure or if they being extra paranoid, but i'm done with walmart for good now.

At least 10 years ago it was SOP for a manager to walk you to the front door. I've never heard of them telling anyone not to come back.

not "don't back in ever," it was "don't come back in the store with the rifle."

Basically they wanted to make sure you didn't get the rifle, then go back in get some ammo, then go outside, load the rifle and return into the store.

About 10 years ago, the same procedure happened to a buddy of mine. I think they had a customer do the above once.

As if someone that was going to go back into the store mall ninja style would give a shit if they said not to.

Don't come back in with it...

err...what if I want to return it because the staff here smells like poo?

Huh...?

Ok fuck it...It is ok if I stand at the door, and shoot?

I've bought some guns at Walmart and kind of chuckled when they were escorting me out of the store. thought it was kind of funny because I was packing a couple of 3AT's and extra mags but I didn't mention that. Ha!Ha!

Oh, they'll escort you out with your new purchase even if you're open carrying a (loaded, of course) pistol on your side.

Policy is policy!

It probably is a good thing all things considered. If the store employee wasn't with you some asshole would probably call the cops and they'd come and either kill you or tase the shit out of you.
