Seems like the wisdom is that you can not have enough guns, even when you have more than enough...

As your stove stash is no good without food/fuel, so are your guns no good without ammo.
I hope and trust that your ammo stash is commensurate with your weapons cache.
Although guns are of course more fun to buy than ammo, a disciplined man must acquire ammunition with similar vigilance and vigor as firearms themselves!

personally i trust the instinct to acquire valuable tools, even if you 'already have enough'.
i just bought some machine tools at an estate sale, heavy metal hogging tools, cutters with carbide inserts, and a bunch of slitting saws. 100+ pounds for $65. most of it new or like new.
i don't expect to use the hogging tools for 5 years. but i knew i was looking at tools with real value.
i figure it's similar with guns.

I would be going hog wild buying ammo and mags
That is what makes the gun useful and that is the LEAST trackable
Like I said before ........... 2 years from now i can see a Glock factory 33rd Mag going for 1000-1500

You might try to go hog wild, but the shelves are basically bare.

ABSOLUTELY, guns without ammo are worthless. People would be better off buying a spear if they don't keep ammo. I see people all the time drop 800 on an AK and 50 on ammo, this isn't even worth it IMO.

Never even been there, but I guess you guys have influenced me... Anyway, the way I see it a double barreled shot gun together with a revolver, would cover most hunting, home and traveling defense situations, wish I could have that...

You don't want to protect your tools with a stick gunDriller.

My local gun shop has wait periods of several hours now. Thankfully for those of us with a CCW permits we don't have to put up with that nonsense. I transferred a couple AK platform rifles on Friday and have another coming in this next week. Same story at all the local shops - no AK or AR platform rifles anywhere not even at Wally World. They all sold out within hours. Not likely to let up either now that the gun grabbers have momentum.

been holding steady above the 10,000 mark. CBI now says 11,750 with a wait time of a solid week
one of the big gun shows of the year is this weekend too so those numbers will surely rise
