Now this is worth educating yourself with the POWER you can gain with a turbo! Simply amazing...

Gotta love forced induction. Gets even better when you open up the down pipe, cats, exhaust, upgrade all the hoses, diverter/blow off valve, then reprogram the fuel air delivery.

I went nuts on an 03 GTI, upgraded everything on that car...top to bottom. Only car I actually ran out of available upgrades on. Fun car, tight as f-ck. Was about to go with a franken turbo (k04 hybrid), then it got rear ended....some ditz texting on a cell phone in a SUV roasted it.

I did the same with a 05 Audi Allroad. Twin K04's, piggies, chip, Milltek exhaust, ect. Soooper exspensive and I soon came to my senses. But, that station wagon walked away from nearly everything.

Nice. AWD is the way to go. It is such a money trap.

My friend tricked out a 99 eagle talon TSI AWD...really fun car. That thing was riot off the light....hooked like glue, impossible to lean forward or get your head off the seat.

Next car I think I'm going to try some kind of turbo AWD setup. Love that push/pull feeling with the slingshot effect.

They didnt even install a turbo? WTF? They rigged up some leaf blowers and ran it into the intake? This might be the gayest video ever made. A real turbo setup runs off of the exhaust energy. What would normally be wasted exhaust energy leaving the tailpipes is used to drive a compressor wheel that in turn forces air into the engine at a greater rate that the normal atmospheric pressure of 14.7psi. It is 100% free horsepower, as long as you have the fule and spark to keep up with the increased airflow to the engine. THIS is why turbos are superior to superchargers, because superchargers are spun by a belt off of the crank which actually takes power to turn.

Im a turbo lover as well and own a turbo 5.8 liter mustang. I will never go back to belt driven boost again.

Can you imagine if they allowed turbocharging in NHRA? Can you say 800+ cubic inches and twin 116mm turbos? :)

As it is they make upwards of 8000hp, and that is with having to turn a belt driven supercharger that probably takes 500hp just to turn it.....LOL

Sure sounds to me like you are recognizing the authority of the NHRA to regulate. How does this balance with your libertarian nature?

This is quite an old video now, and I hear this seven second car is now wrecked, but I've always liked this video of a TT V8 GNX on the dyno...

C'mon children I just thought the video was on spot with false advertising via ebay. The video was actually kinda cool in a lame sort of way.
