A loud mouth brit coming in telling people to get rid of their guns?
Hmm...where have I heard that one before?
"British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment. We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens"

This would be too funny if he gets his ass bounced.

He deserves every bit of derision that can be poured upon him.

it's seditious behaviour to undermine the government or the instruments of government such as constitutions.
This is excellent idea. Perhaps it can include a boycott of his advertisers.

Deport a foreigner here in the US who's advocating destroying our constitution. Makes a lot of sense. Get him out of here. This has my support.

I read earlier today that he was whining about the conservatives wanting to deport him, saying that they don't respect his 1st amendment rights. Now as far as I know he doesn't have those rights because he's a British subject and not an American.

Deport Piers Morgan? Some say yes
http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/people/2012/12/24/some-americans-want-cnns-piers-morgan-deported/1789273/
housands of Americans have signed petitions on the White House website after the CNN talk show host criticized the USA's gun culture.
Oh boy, wait until the British chattering classes hear this: A large number of Americans have signed White House petitions to deport British citizen Piers Morgan because he criticized America's gun-loving culture on his CNN talk show.
Can they do that? Not bloody likely, but people are having nasty fun with the idea anyway, while Morgan is treating it with his characteristic amused disdain. And his CNN show gets more attention.
Morgan's many enemies among the British media would not be too happy to see him back, but they probably don't have to worry.
A foreigner already a resident in the USA, with a green card and authorization to work, could be deported for, say, committing a serious crime or being a communist. But it's unlikely he could be run out just for expressing an opinion on TV.
Still, more than 44,000 people have signed two petitions (http://https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petitions) on the White House website, calling for Morgan to be deported for "attacking" the Second Amendment after the Newtown massacre, in which 20 children were among those shot to death.
"We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens," one petition reads.
The petitioners seem to be serious, but there have been some fairly wacky petitions filed on the White House's We the People Web page. So far, no response (http://www.usatoday.com/story/theoval/2012/12/24/obama-piers-morgan-deport-white-house-petition/1788899/) from the Obama administration.
Like many Brits of all political persuasions, Morgan says America's attitude toward guns is nuts. Last week, when he interviewed Larry Pratt, director of Gun Owners of America, the conversation got hot.
"You're an unbelievably stupid man, aren't you?" Morgan said at one point.
Rude, but nothing unusual in the British media, which has regularly attacked Morgan for, among other things, his alleged involvement in the British phone-hacking scandal (he denies it). But rudeness isn't a ground for deportation either.
Morgan, a prolific user of Twitter, has been tweeting up a storm since the petitions appeared. Words like "ridiculous" and "goon" and "bring it on!" have been mentioned in his feed. He joked about anchoring his show from Jamaica if he were deported. But he also posted serious arguments, or as serious as you can get in 140 characters.
"Wanting America to ban assault weapons & high-capacity magazines isn't 'anti-constitutional' -- it's called 'common sense," he tweeted today.

We got rid of him once and why should we have to suffer again. The Americans wanted him so they should put up with him. We washed our hands of him a long time ago.

How French of you...
Why did colonist consider George Washington a hero even after he was defeated by the french?
Best Answer
he struck the first blow against the french
If you have to have a LONG answer then you could use this.
Washington was defeated at Fort nessecity in July 1754, but in 1755, he applied to be an aide to General Braddock in the expedition. While they were advancing towards the French fort, they were attacked by the French and Native Americans. Braddock was killed, but Washington took command and prevented the defeat from being any worse by leading an organized retreat. He also had two horses shot out from under him and four bullet holes through his coat. For this, he was dubbed the "Hero of the Monongahela", the Monongahela river is where the battle took place.

Top Comment ---Do people not understand it is illegal for a foreigner to come to our country and try to usurp our Constitution???It was taken to the Supreme Court. Legal precedent has been set, in the '70's many foreign communists were deported. It has nothing to do with freedom of speech. Google it.

In the end of that he announces a piece on how the Kennedy's as a family suffered to gun violence, that's rich considering the gun violence against them was orchestrated by the very people who would have all the guns they could wish for after a ban...

Piers Morgan and Alex Jones on CNN (CNN)
The White House has responded (https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/response/when-discussing-second-amendment-keep-first-mind-too) to the petition seeking the deportation of Piers Morgan with a statement from press secretary Jay Carney explaining the First Amendment.
The petition (https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/deport-british-citizen-piers-morgan-attacking-2nd-amendment/prfh5zHD), which received well over 100,000 signatures (25,000 are required for a White House response) was led by conservative radio host Alex Jones. He wrote, "British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment. We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens."
In Carney's statement explaining the White House's decision to allow Morgan to remain in the U.S., he acknowledges that the Second Amendment does guarantee citizens the right to bear arms, but reiterates the First Amendment guarantees the freedom of the press.
Carney wrote:
Americans may disagree on matters of public policy and express those disagreements vigorously, but no one should be punished by the government simply because he or she expressed a view on the Second Amendment—or any other matter of public concern.
We recognize that the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, sparked an intense, and at times emotional, national conversation about the steps we can take as a country to reduce gun violence. In fact, your petition is one of many on the issue, and President Obama personally responded by sharing his views on this important issue.
Earlier this week, Jones appeared on Morgan's CNN program (http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/alex-jones-piers-morgan-video-140201992.html) where he declared, "1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms! America was born on guns and whiskey. It's true we're a violent society. ... You're a foreigner. You're a redcoat. You're telling us what to do."

Piers Morgan brings worst ratings to CNN prime time slot in 21 years
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/usa/9361012/Piers-Morgan-brings-worst-ratings-to-CNN-prime-time-slot-in-21-years.html
"When the prime time show replaced Larry King’s 9pm slot 18 months ago audience figures trebled. But after a successful few months, numbers have tumbled to a record low.
In May, figures for Piers Morgan Tonight dropped to their lowest in 15 years with only 39,000 viewers in the key 25-54 demographic tuning in to watch the former Daily Mirror editor.
The figures demonstrate a major slide for the British television personality whose show launched to a massive advertising campaign in January 2011.
His debut show attracted 2.1 million viewers – 521,000 of which were between 25 and 54. Since then, the programme has lost 27 per cent of its audience and 32 per cent of the 25-54 demographic.
Despite the dwindling numbers, the former Daily Mirror editor remained defiant this week, brazenly retweeting a comment suggesting the ratings failure was worse than “a Moody's analyst with an undiagnosed brain tumour". "
