We need gun control because of completely uncivilized morons such as these "hundreds" in a melee at a Pop Warner kiddie football playoff broken up by cops in riot gear, clearly they are not mentally competent enough to own guns OF ANY KIND -

Just imagine the *TERROR* if only one of them had been armed with any one of those evil 'assault weapons'.
I submit 'doomsday' (TEOTWAWKI) arrived right on schedule.

If they were armed, they might have completely annihilated each other. Good riddance. What case for gun control?

Or, they would've been really polite to each other....

The point of my sarcastic post is that one doesn't going around picking (fist) fights with those he (or she) is uncertain whether the one with whom they're wanting to fight is armed or not. (armed could even mean armed with a knife)
And those who ARE armed are highly unlikely to pick a fight with someone else (unless we're talking about the self-destructive, the Darwin candidates and gangbanger types).
"An armed society is a polite society."
I remember the good ol' days of guns shows - you couldn't find a more polite crowd.

Police in riot gear stop brawl among parents at kids' football game Published December 23, 2012
Associated Press
CHINO, Calif. – Police in riot gear flooded the field of a youth football game in Southern California to stop a brawl that involved dozens and possibly hundreds of adult spectators.
Chino police told the San Bernardino Sun they received several calls saying a melee had broken out amid a crowd of hundreds of parents who were watching a Pop Warner playoff game at a city park on Saturday.
Sgt. Frank Mena said most of the brawlers ran from the field as police with helmets and clubs poured into the park. No one was seriously injured and no one was arrested.
Chino is in San Bernardino County 35 meals east of Los Angeles. WTF does that mean? it would take your 35 meals to walk from L.A. to San Berdu?

That's a quality college education right there. Probably has a degree from Chino Community College.

Guns sales ARE controlled presently. I for one am not advocating for totally unfettered sales of guns. What I do object to is the government which has a glaring conflict of interest called the second amendment demagoguing the gun issue and advocating for tighter and tighter control. Obviously, the government has an ulterior motive and is up to no good; hence, the primacy of the second amendment: it is the province of the people.

Military style semi-autos in the hands of the people are the only thing protecting/shielding the minority from the tyranny of the majority.
