View Full Version : 3 officers injured, gunman dead after NJ police station shooting

GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. - December 28, 2012 (WPVI) -- Three officers were injured after gunfire erupted inside Gloucester Township police headquarters Friday morning.

Medics responded around 5:30 a.m. to the station, which is located on the 1200 block of Chews Landing Road in Gloucester Township, Camden County.

Action News has learned three officers were taken to Cooper University Hospital with injuries.

One male officer is listed in stable condition after having sustained a gunshot wound. He is currently undergoing surgery.

The other two officers, a male and a female, are receiving treatment for bullet graze wounds.

Police tell Action News that the gunman, a prisoner at the station, was shot and killed.

Police have not yet released information as to what happened inside the police station. The Camden County Prosecutor's Office is taking over the investigation.

Obviously, guns must be banned from all police stations immediately. If there were no [legal] guns in the station, this never could have happened. Clearly, policemen are not fit to carry these dangerous and destructive weapons. The public must be safeguarded. After all, don't you know that guns kill people.

And since there is no one to refute the fairy tale they are gonna make up

Well, there goes the argument, "you never see mass shootings erupt in police stations, do you?" Next you can expect them to place a crazy at a gun show to start shooting it up too.
