So, lemme see if I have this straight: Create an event to push an agenda (in this case banning firearms)... the result is that in the time it takes to sell the agenda, there are thousands and thousands more guns in the hands of the people you wish to disarm. OK then. Nice work!

Let's say Feinstein's bill passes as is. The government makes a law saying you have to come in register all your guns, fingerprint, and take mug shots, like outlined. What do you guys think would happen? Can you outline some scenarios please?
I honestly have no faith in the American people to stand up to anything. Should I have more faith?

BATFags only have a dozen or less examiners to process NFA applications/transfers/tax stamps at this time and it's averaging about EIGHT months to get that paperwork processed and back so folks can take possession of their NFA items (I personally know of someone who had to wait over a year for the tax stamp on his short barrel shotgun).
If you haven't watched this video you need to, and then you'll have a very clear grasp on the problem -

They already have most folks info and if they don't voluntarily come back in for their "processing/fingerprinting" they can expect a knock on the door. They already have a database it just depends on how they come at us and how much manpower they're willing to expend.

I watched the video and I'm more confused than ever.
I don't get how/if they enforce this shit. Then again, I don't get how these fuckers have all the power they have now with virtually no resistance. How long can a tiny group of Evil people control so many people and constantly get away with it. Is there ever a goddamned breaking point?

Perhaps look at it from a different angle .
Create an event with the intention of banning firearms.
Down side is it would look bad on the economy if business were left with the loss of $ when inventory was taken without compensation .Stores close , jobs lost overall looks bad on the nation.
Step in with a staged event , fear / panic pushes gun sales to the max , stores sell out all inventory on paper it looks great as the economy is growing stores show a profit maybe hire a person or 2 for a short term .In steps gun control and banning , no grandfathered clause .Turn in all evil listed guns , additional police hired to collect them, another boost in employment #'s only the private gun owner looses money instead of businesses .Guns off the street , employment up , retail sales look good for the year .
Short version , they got all the standing inventory of "assault" guns sold and a paper trail leading to them for future confiscation and no businesses hurt in the process.
Well thought out plan if you think about it.

dunno, I have heard before, that if it ever gets to the point that many say it is 'time to bury "things"'..........it may actually be time to clean and fine tune, "things"
Im having problems just getting random parts. Got confirmation that my DD 5.56 barrel was shipped . I have my two lowers completed, just been draggin hills for many months on uppers. Can get my hands on a 7.62 barrel, but I want a .308. ( I know, but same as I will never install a .223 barrel , mine are all stamped 5.56) Bolt carrier groups or all the parts to make one cant be found anywhere. I think they pulled all to make as many rifles as they can to meet demand. Unless your a dealer/supplier , your SOL!

I'm hoping that happens it also starts getting Americans to stop paying taxes en-masse.

People will only stop paying taxes en-masse when they can't afford to. For example, a situation like greece where people's lives become very uncomfortable.
The goal is to get guns out of society before that point. Otherwise you'll have unhappy people who also have the ability to cause some serious damage.
The problem is that there are so many guns and so much resistance that to remove enough guns to make the greece scenario viable, it would take too long. The two time-frames don't line up.

If they get their way, a bunch more weapons will fall under the NFA, which requires, you guessed it, a tax, so without ever having to truly ban anything they corrall you into the federal tax system, and just like Al Capone, watch out. Once it reaches that point I see more people saying "screw it" and just giving up on taxes all together. In for a penny, in for a pound I guess.

The siege/massacre of 82 men, women, and children at Mt. Carmel/Waco was based allegedly* on MERELY "the possibility of" an unpaid $200 NFA tax stamp.
*the govt. mercs/killers never bothered with producing any evidence to prove their case, even faked evidence to that effect
