Very interesting...where were they going with all those good delivery bars? Hmmmm?
Makes me wonder how many trucks are going down the highway, that aren't crashing and dumping their good delivery silver bars all over the road for the world to see?

Town of Barker, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A truck carrying millions of dollars in silver bars slides down an embankment off Interstate 81 North.

It happened Monday around 7:30 a.m. near the Castle Creek exit on Interstate 81 North (exit 7).

An Armour truck was heading to Rochester from Queens. New York State Police say the truck was carrying $10 million in silver bars.

There were three people in the truck when it went off the interstate. One was taken to the hospital with a possible broken leg.

One lane of traffic was closed on Interstate 81 North for clean-up.

Another truck was coming to pick up the goods from the wrecked truck.

No wonder my new load never got here this morning......oh well, I'll have to wait for another week for my new load.

I hope all the silver makes it through. Is Armour truck a company name or is it a general description. I notice the reporter presenter person leaves out the odd word or letter when speaking. Wonder if they meant armoured truck?

If they were heading to Rochester, sounds like Kodak may be waiting for them (x-ray or other film?).

I find it odd that the truck spilled it's contents and lost a tire somehow but only one of the three guards was injured. Armored cars are pretty solid. Then again silver is very heavy so maybe the sheer weight of it could have caused it to bust loose.

Why do you think that I call it my Silver Island? hahahaahaha........by the way, in Saudi Arabia there is a prince that his living room floor is made out of bricks of gold...and another one had a 125 foot bost in his backyard that he uses to party in with.

if it was a truck was carrying gold bars and the crash damaged the bars enough to reveal tungsten insides - i have a feeling it would become a National Security matter.
