Oh they do.
Bud, is, to my knowledge, no longer with the company.
He is, however, a likely very wealthy man.

Robbed from another forum:
If you break down those numbers to checks per 1000 in each state you get some interesting numbers. First, Kentucky is off the charts with about 600 checks per 1000 citizens. The top ten are (based on 2010 population numbers):
597 - Kentucky
136 - Montana
126 - North Dakota
121 - West Virginia
120 - Alaska
112 - Wyoming
108 - South Dakota
98 - Oklahoma
97 - New Hampshire
90 - Alabama
The bottom 5:
24 - Maryland
23 - Rhode Island
17 - New York
13 - Hawaii
10 - New Jersey

That's fuckin' awesome.
Although now when I think about it it makes sense... just yesterday I went to the store to see how they were doing on ammo when I saw a 14-year-old family member with his mother, buying him a shotgun. He told me that it was the display model because they were sold out of 'em.
They were mostly out of ammo too.

597 - Kentucky
136 - MontanaBackground checks in Kentucky exceed the next highest state by a factor of 4.38. I can't help thinking the stats are skewed somehow. Kentucky is not THAT different from other states. (Sorry to rob your thunder Kentucky guys)

As a resident of KY for the past 7 years i must disagree. Everyone I know is armed. Everyone! Not only that, but KY has the best gun laws in the nation.
Can't believe I actually lived in California as long as i did. I will never go back. Also of note , is the complete lack of smog laws as well. I run long tubes on my Mustangs with no issues. Also no front license plates etc. Great place to live in these troubled times.

Where I live you just go buy the gun from the guy that's selling it. No paper, no stats.
