The Knockout Game has a new rule: Watch out for the Moms, the victim’s moms.

This version of the Knockout Game began like most others: A black mob found a defenseless white college student. They punched him in the face. Only stopping when they got tired and he got knocked out.

Then they ran away, laughing hard and loud. Leaving Trevor Godfrey bleeding, unconscious and shaking with convulsions.

Usually that is the end of it – just another case of racial violence played out by the hundreds in more than 80 cities across the country, detailed both in WND.com and the book White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence and how the media ignore it.

But this was different: This time the victim and his family decided not to walk away.

“Trevor never saw them when he was almost killed, so he never had a chance to put up a fight,” said Trevor’s mom, Sherry Godfrey. “But we are fighting back now and we will not stop.”

St. Louis teen pleads guilty in 'knockout game'


ST. LOUIS (AP) — A St. Louis teenager faces sentencing in March after pleading guilty to assaulting a 54-year-old man in a "knockout game" attack.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/Wt6Okn ) reports that 18-year-old Kwame Thomas pleaded guilty to second-degree assault on Monday. The attack happened in November 2011. The victim survived.

In the knockout game, people are picked at random and beaten. The attacks are sometimes captured on video and some have been posted on social media sites.

In another St. Louis case, a 20-year-old suspect is charged with first-degree murder and faces trial in April for allegedly killing a 72-year-old immigrant from Vietnam during a knockout game attack in April 2011.

On Oct. 21, Matt Quain, 52, a dishwasher, was severely beaten in a knockout assault on South Grand Boulevard. The mayor helped rescue him. Seven middle schoolers, some as young as 12, were arrested. Then, at a juvenile court hearing in January, the main witness, a 13-year-old classmate of the defendants, failed to show up. The case was tossed out.

The kids celebrated. Others howled.

"People all over the city of St. Louis are outraged over this," Mayor Francis Slay said.
