The so-called 'gunshow loophole' that is - in reality there is no such thing.

so how is this going to work? let me guess, i'll have to go to some store or police station and pay $250 to use the NICS system when i sell a firearm, right? and i won't be able to leave anything to my kids for free, they'll all have to spend a bunch of money getting checked out, right? this is about money, pure and simple.

Funny how our right to contract privately with each other (even for matters as simple as a sale of an item), is seen to be a "loop-hole".
People are fucking retarded.

If you will recall one of 0bomber's EOs directs the BATF to send out a letter to each FFL advising them how to handle private sales, so it will (in the beginning at least) entail paying a 'nominal' fee to a FFL to do the transfer/background check.

The only reason for the NRA to exist is to negotiate 2nd amendment rights away.
If you have a right there is no need to negotiate.
Danged if I don't believe the situation that exists in Louisiana as the relationship between crimes and punishment isn't preferable to that in the other 49 states

What most (basically the retarded) are not seeing is that this scheme of 'asking permission' from the state to get a gun will be expanded to EVERYTHING. This is an absolute infringement.

You are mistaken, your only right is to contract with the state. Don't worry, they'll "fix" it and explain it for you better. :)

Of course they are going to cave.
The trick is making it look like a tacticle move
I just heard that they got over 250,000 new members as a result of SH
Thats a nice size group of new people to snooker out of money.

i saw today that the white is unleashing the campaign staff to do a public relations rush about gun control. from what i can tell, the new tactic is to try and paint me in the same light as a pedophile or worse.

It's amazing that because of a shooting, new steps are taken which would absolutely have done nothing to change the shooting
