How can anyone that owns a firearm think a shotgun is less lethal then a .223 cal?

Per trigger pull:

27 x .22 cal projectiles or
9 x .33 cal projectiles or
1 x .73 cal projectile!

....v.s. 1 x .223 cal projectile.

Maybe there should be mandatory training courses to help weed out the idiots?

Interesting demonstration, but just like the NRA, his solution is a federal one, i.e., increase federal ATF fees, and then redistribute the funds so that reject cops can be put in local schools with guns. Even well meaning, smarter people don't seem to get it.
