My trip to the casino and big city.....

I know, I know......so what hahahahaha. ........ anyway, took of yeaterday at 1330 and driving down the road saw a lot of cars parked alongside the road, in town those who sells new cars and now selling a lot of used card and those who sells "previously owned cars" no have a large selection of almost new cars...saw no HPD, state police nowhere and the only copa car that I saw was, guess where?, yeap, the donut shop.........lot of businessess now closed, ten years old "La Burita", over fifty years old hardware store, all that you can eat place that closed down seven months ago and reopen two monts ago (bunch of trucks there loading everything) and more places that I never paid any attention to.

Reach the casino hotel and the room was only $49.50 (never seen this price fefore).....went to my room and then came back down to enjoy the jacuzzy and the steam room, went back dow and rested for a while.......I then called for the pocker room to reserve a chair AND GUESS WHAT? it was closed down for good, good dreesed and went searching for the casino manager and found HER, yep it was a woman, she told me that there were very few players...I then told her I would never come back till the card room was reopen, went back to my roo, fifteen minutes later a knock at my door and it was her with a free buffet card and saying that she was soory........went down to the buffer mess hall, the place is BIG as large as five or six baskeball courts.......only 5 people there and with me six.......went back upstairs and while in the elevator this woman asked me if I was related to Kirk Douglas? because I look like him, hummmmmmm I don't even have a dimple in my chin........the whole night the parking lot was very empty.

Left this morning at 0900, only about 25 cars in the parking lot.......drove to Grants Pass and hit three porthole on the road, this has never happened before, there were no construction company working on the road or alongside the road and I have never seen this before.

Went to the dollar store and then to Wallys, it was crowded and with prices very high............stopped at the entrance to Wally and stopped to give this guy a dollar......by this time the light had turned red....green light go Ponce.........and what do I see? abut 200 feet infront of me a three cars accident and had I not stop to give this guy a buck I could had been one of them........Saint Ponce done it again hahahahah, saved by a dollar.

Note: People driving faster with less traffic or cops.....at the casino the workers there looked to me somewhate scared, got the feeling that is going to closed down...........the country is in BIG trouble.

I think Ponce is really Danny O (George Clooney) and he's scoping the joint out for a "day at the Ocean (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocean%27s_Trilogy)". See how all that information just comes together. Road conditions for the getaway, how many cops might chase them etc.

I worked 10 hours today, built and made stuff. Went to the hardware store but the parking lot was empty, it was closed.... at 5:30 damit. It rained hard and was perilous but we made it ok..thankfully. No wild dogs or animals attcked, we didn't have to kill them. Made it home in time to listen to an internet broadcast and drink some beers. And... I had to share this with you of all. PS..don't go to hardware stores when they are closed.

LOL LT, I went to Monterey today, Dennis the Menace park the kids played while we chit chatted, we went for a walk on the wharf and ate clam chowder outta a bread bowl...... Mmmm it was good, lots of tourists, people all over, and lots of moochers, beggars whatever you want to call them, they were well dressed and most of them had a pack of cigarettes available to them, hell aren't they 7 bucks a pack?

A guy played the guitar for us and I gave the kids a dollar a piece to donate to him, he said naw.... I do this cause I love music, give it to him, meaning a guy down the way who had a sign saying he was a disabled vet, anyhow the kids gave it to him, It was a beautiful sunshiny day and very peaceful for me, nice not to be stressed for one day, now up and at um into the shop tomorrow am, 8;00 sharp then to a birthday party for my other grandma, her 90TH a hour a way.
