$80+ for it.
That is quite the premium.
I like to purchase a few of the 1ozt wildlife coins when I can, but I will pass on this one.
Why is the price so high on it ?

My German dealer charges $57.80 for it. A cool coin though.. might get a nice premium on it in a year or two.

Interesting.
I would think that would be more of a decent price for an ounce and a half.

I browsed completed auctions on ebay and found a roll that went for $1029, the cheapest single coin sold went for $58.48 and most expensive for $89.99

Think I'm gonna pick up a couple. Seems like it will become popular.

It is indeed a 1-1/2 ounce coin

Just found out that it has a mintage of only 8500.

Seems it might be wrong.

"For the people who still thinks the mintage is 8,500 coins, I just got this from a RCM rep.

I would shell out about 55 frn, perhaps 60 frn at best.

To me that is a good price range.
80 is silly.
Especially with this new info that it is not a low mintage item.

I still would want one.... It's a sweet looking coin. There will be a time when it will be worth more....

Dunno.... Canadians will be buying it up by the boat load though. $20 for 1/4 oz is steeper than the polar bear. I'd rather have a regular SML

I'm Canadian, but could give a crap about hockey

Then you ain't no Canadian!

Yeah, yeah -- I hear that all the time at work....

I personally don't care about any sports. it's all Bread & Circuses to me. Nothing to see here people, don't look at us planning the outcome of your life [that we control]. Just watch NHL, NFL, American Idol, etc.

you think that's bad, check out the "Holy Land Mint" in Israel.

they charge Gold-line type premiums - at APMex.

Ok I'll bite.

- ATB fiasco- go to .gov site for details

- HIGH prices- check here and the other sites. http://silvergoldbull.com/silver-bullion-1/1-5oz-2013-canadian-polar-bear-silver-coin

- Data mining operation-stay anonymous my friend. Much more than I care to reveal on this so you're going to have to take my word on it. Buy local with cash.

- Offices in a former federal bank building, need I say more?
There are some other issues i have with them but I wanted to quick answer you before you ordered from them. DON"T!

I have a question for you woodman. Are you an active member at .gov site?
