My act of kindness today

On Sundays I usually go to my mothers house and either take her out for breakfast or make it. Today I cooked. Some Italian sausage, country fries, eggs and some fresh bread. Since there was food left over I decided to take it home. While I was driving home I make left under the freeway pass and there's two homeless guys there.

It ends up taking me a few minutes but I make it back there. Stop, roll down the window and ask if they're hungry. Their eyes light up and both say yes. The guy walks over and I handed him a pretty darn good meal, that's still warm.

I usually don't bother with homeless people, but these two guys just looked horrible, and I wouldn't hurt me to miss a few meals. Just my little act of kindness today.

i used to work with a guy named Vic, and a secretary named Judy.

Vic's typical response to a good morning was, "Fuck you". this is in a corporate situation.

Judy was full of sugar-coated BS. a "Good morning" from her was more Icey than the Ice Planet Toth, in Star Wars, the Empire Strikes Back. she was such a bitch.


Vic's "F'you" had far more warmth than Judy's "Good morning."

Vic was a PC Board designer.

he finally got out of there for a real start up and made some decent money.
