I still see them as controlled/fake opposition

"he said that more gun laws may not provide all the answers we need" ~ not that more gun laws are NOT THE ANSWER to this problem.

Either this fellow is a much better actor, or he's for real--I'll reserve judgment on that. But it could be TPTB are trying to 'lead the opposition'? Can't tell yet.
