I'm sure by now they have suspects id'ed and ALL possible resources are being used in pursuit of same as the protected class always gets preferential treatment, the proles not so much.

Bring out the drones! I don't know anything about this, but he was probably a crooked, double crossing bastard who deserved what he got. A fucking politician.

Prosecutors are a special breed, many of which take delight and complete personal satisfaction in 'winning' against EVERYONE* that gets in their sights.

*The statutes specifically state that cases are NOT to be prosecuted solely on the basis of 'winning' but rather the pursuit of justice - most prosecutors don't give a rat's ass about pursuing justice, they ONLY care about 'winning'

So very true! Even when proven they were wrong, and wrongly convicted someone... They rarely admit they were wrong if ever. Most have their sights set at some kind of "higher" office. So their "numbers" are important to them.

Bottom feeders of the legal system in many ways.

You're too kind
Prosecutors are lawyers that are too lacking in their craft to make real money in the private sector as defense attorneys. They take the security of the gov paycheck and hope that all the teevee crime shows taint the jury pool to the extent that all they have to do is present some circumstancial evidence and hope the jury sees every defendant as being guilty until proven innocent.
Again, if they were good lawyers, they wouldn't work for a weekly paycheck from the taxpayers
