I hope that asshole at the end enjoys his five minutes of fame and whatever brownshirt money they paid him to make a private transaction between to indivduals look as sktechy as possible.

They pulled out all the stops

Doing a deal after 10 pm, in a parking lot, out of the trunk and the owner did offer a receipt hand written and the quickly said it wasnt notorized.

A document dosent have to be notorized to be legally binding dipshit.

I hope his is the first house to get raided when the hammer falls.

Traitor.

Wait till you see how the death count rises after those deals become ill-legalized,

it'll go ballistic along with the price of the gun.

Feinstein is really lobbying for black and minority teenagers killing each other.

Sheeeet, that happens all the time in these parts (except for maybe the after 10 PM part) - with the deal done in less than 2-3 minutes with nothing more than an exchange of first names and FRNs. It's called mind your own fucking business.

Besides, intelligent gunowners are able to exercise sound judgment in properly vetting their buyers.

ETA: in the video the seller wants to see an ID when talking on the phone (but ultimately didn't ask to see one), I rarely encounter that. Clearly this video is a hit piece, it does NO favors for the people - the asshole who did that video is a mega tool.

Yeah we have handgun registration here in Canada and there are two separate markets for handguns legal and illegal.

For example a legal used glock 17 sold to a licensed person would be around $500. Same gun on the black market would fetch $1500-2000 maybe more.

How do they get unregistered guns usually? Not talking about stolen or older grandfathered in weapons.

Report yours stolen, or missing

Sell it to the underworld for 3 times the amount.

Seedy types probably make a living off of splitting the proceeds with innocents. I'm not confirming, but suspect those in laws enforcement are the largest group of offenders.

To be honest I am not sure exactly. I think horns explanation is part of it. Some are smuggled into the country though. If certain drugs can get into and out of the country illegally then so can handguns. organized crime can pay off a few border guards and bring them in by the truck load if they want.

Illegal guns work the same as drugs. The higher the demand the higher the price the more incentive there is for someone to make them available.

As long as people pay good money for something, it will always be around.

Reminds me of the Mexican police concept. They are business men primarily not upholders of the law.

Soon as the ban goes into effect.......there is going to be a Tsunami of "stolen "guns to feed the underground market

The number one sellers of illegal weapons in CA are the cops themselves because they take it from one gang member and then sells them out.......sometimes to another gang member.

Looks like cops are selling guns back to the public taken from gun buy back programs for store credit to firearms shops. (Good thing)

We can only hope the guns that get sold back, get used to take out some of the bad guys.

One would think they would.

Taxing everyone to purposefully destroy something is insane.
