Do you live near a radio station?......in case of a mp attack the old tube radios will be the only ones that will work. You should pay a visit to radio station in order to find out what they did with the old tube radio transmiters when they went the new way with transsistors....... I don't think that the small radio stations will have them because they probably went modern.....but who knows, check anyway......if you are able to find any then BUY IT.
After what happen happens the the people must be inform about many things, like:
any bad guys around?
any food that they can buy, and where,
do we have a government?
first aid, where?
where can they call for help?
general news about what is going on.
music to tame the devil.
and a lot more...........................
I for one have 2 working tube radios, one from 1942 and another from 1943..........but what good will they do me if there is no transmitter?
