I seemed to be the only parent concerned. 'Course they tried to dismiss me as a fool. Found out later that ALL TX ISDs had the same drill. Coincidence? I think not! All of you advocating for Home Schooling: PLEASE SUPPORT THOSE WHO DO! Moral support, kudos in the grocery store, financially if you can (it's a full-time+ job), hugs when they're worn out, buy their kid's home-made products ...if you want it, you MUST play a part. It will matter to all of us!

What sticks in my mind is that a teacher(s) went along with the curriculum. I know that if I were in that position we'd have done something different that day and I'd answer for it later if need be. I reckon teachers, all in all, but not all are really the just the sheepiest of sheep.
