In a culture super-saturated with mass death and destruction in ALL quarters, a child emulating same 'as play' is punished -

My thinking is that the goal is to traumatize children in order to induce multiple personality disorder.

...boy was suspended for throwing an imaginary hand grenade...

You know, the word "ludicrous" is overused in life, but this is it. It was far over the top with the bubble "gun" incident, and then the kid whose finger supposedly looked like a gun, but now they have upped the ante. This has fallen off the spectrum from being sad, stupid, and despicable, to now almost being hilarious. How far they going with this? AND, at what point do the "education" Marxists go from destroying the kid's life for even thinking about a gun, to putting one in his hand in ROTC class and telling him what hero he'll be for killing for the corporate government?

...and unfortunately it doesn't stop with the kids... remember that story about a year ago, when the TSA refused to let a woman travel because her purse had a picture of an old western gun on it?

Don't use the "G" word in this thread. It offends me. I'm sensitive.

I think that along with the explosion in the national debt, there has also been an explosion in the amount of insanity among people with authority in America. Maybe it has something to do with Lord Acton's observation that Absolute power results in absolute corruption. The corruption we see is in the thinking of the people with authority. Parents should teach their kids that the people who run the school system think they have absolute authority and that they do truly insane things under that delusion. But of course, the parents don't see this themselves because they are trying to deal with the insanity that comes from the absolute authority delusion of the government and the media.

I am hopeful that SHTF will arrive in time to save us all from this insanity. It will however get worse until SHTF. SHTF will come when people understand what the people with delusions of absolute authority are doing. They are trying to get full spectrum dominance over everything and everybody before SHTF arrives. Yes, I know this sounds circular. You can get a better handle on it if you consider this:

Remember back when Dick Cheney was VP? He said frequently that Deficits don't matter. And he was right. He knew back then that the nation had passed the point of no return. He knew about the flaw in the money system that would make it reach that point of no return. That flaw is that the banks charge interest on loans they conjure up out of thin air. They do not create the interest however. So, in order to pay interest on your loans, you have to make enough profit in your business (revenues in excess of expenses exclusive of interest) to pay that interest. Or, if you have no business, you have to make enough from your labor to cover both your interest expenses and your living expenses. If you cannot earn that excess, the only other way to get money to pay your interest expense is to borrow it--take a loan out from the bank. This is like getting a cash advance on your Visa card so you can make the minimum payment. We all know that this is not sustainable. Not for us or for the government. Somebody must have pointed this out to Cheney, and that is what he meant about Deficits don't matter. He knew back then, when the debt was a bit more than half of what it is now that the whole system was going to crash, and his strategy was to go on as if nothing was amiss. Damn the torpedos full speed ahead. And the whole art of government shifted from responsible action, to action that keeps the status quo in tact until there is a mass realization that the whole system is unsustainable and bankrupt. This necessarily requires a lot of 'perception management', while you are pursuing goals that cannot be achieved, such as full spectrum dominance over everything and everyone. One of these perception management techniques is to justify oppression with the claim that it is for your safety. That has filtered down to the classrooms in elementary schools now, and we have stories like in the OP here.

I could go on with this explanation of the corruption in the thinking of even low levels of authority, but I think I've made the point. It is a symptom of delusional thinking. If we had a responsible government, we would see them admitting the flaw in the money system and making some constructive plans openly to deal with it--such as considering a more sustainable money system, but that would mean they would have to admit how horribly they have been screwing us all for a whole century, and they cannot do that. So, until we all begin to understand what they are doing, we will continue to see the effects of being required to tell the people in authority what they want to hear--regardless of what we see or what is actually happening. We have to teach the kids in school to play this game.
