I think for the first time I have seen an ad on the tube pushing silver ownership and investment.

All ad's before have been for gold as an investment and no mention of silver.

There may have been ad's in the past about silver, but yesterday is the first time that I have noticed one.

We keep flirting with above and below 32. Heck we were at 32 this morning.

I'm down for at least another 5 years, probably longer before the herd really starts to look up from the plate of hay. Five years is a blink of time, is 10 not much more.

Long live the printing press.

i am hearing Mass-media ads that talk about silver shortages affecting Apple production & US mint Silver Eagle production.

i.e. the general public is hearing about some of the events that may push Silver into a genuine shortage condition.

but i still don't perceive any widespread interest, in the US, in purchasing it as an investment.

There is just to much silver coins around for me to believe in some "to the moon" mania. If the price spike to let's say $50 then suddenly all those who are holding hard to sell .925 commemorative coins will dump them on the market and the price will go down. The price can go high, but it will take lots of time and cycles.

The last spike we experienced was by design in my opinion.
