proposed today. copied from ar-15.com:
Possession of hollow point bullets and similar assault bullets a felony.
Possession of more than 500 rounds of ammo a felony.
6 round magazine limit
ALL magazines must be fixed to the gun (can not be removed without the use of a tool)
100% prohibition of all magazines greater than 10 rounds. All previous grandfathered magazines become illegal. Felony if you keep one.
Changing definition of shotgun revolving cylinder -- Basically only single shot shotguns will remain legal.
Bullet Buttons will become illegal -- All AR and AK style rifles that are currently equipped with them will be designated Assault Weapons. Felony to possess.
All gun owners now must be licensed like drivers.
All gun owners must carry gun liability insurance
Basically they have just proposed to make all semi-automatic weapons, as well as most shotguns, illegal.

Sen. Steinberg
To add to micks post, my first reaction was to wonder how many jews were in the room. That was prior to reading steinberg's name.

Looks like a real POS.
Steinberg said he is traveling to Washington next week to urge federal officials to spend $10 billion more on mental health early intervention, school-based services and treatment modeled after the system funded in California under Proposition 63.

They don't have metal detectors? If they even slightly think you're holding out they'll scan everywhere you might have hidden them. NO cost outweighs the safety of the "citizen".

I just wanna know, I can't see this helping anyone but criminals. What I thought was funny was when he stated that there were XXX number of gun deaths in CA in 2011, and that there were just as many fatal car accidents. He goes on to talk about how registration and licensing is required for driving, why not guns?
Am I the only one hearing him defeat his own argument right out of the gate?
If registration and licensing isn't preventing vehicular deaths, why would it prevent gun deaths??!
What a dumbass.

Yeah but, how many fatal car accidents would there be, if people weren't registered?

I have no way of knowing that, since it's never happened in my lifetime.
What I do know is that the majority of licensed drivers I know had minimal practice before they obtained official permission to operate a motor vehicle.
I also suspect that a vast majority of the folks involved in fatal car accidents were carrying their licenses, registration, and insurance.

They see the backlash building in NY and they proceed to jump right into the fire.

This is only good for the gang bangers, Americans/Californians will register their guns, I am so disgusted, I was going to buy a couple of guns and ammo soon, at least a shot gun and some kind of handgun.
I need to protect myself and my child, I don't know if I will now.
I don't want to be a felon?
Is this Senator retarded?

Just more jews pushing the Bolshevik agenda. Dunno how this will play out, but I do know that there are a shit load of pro 2nd people in Cali. What's sad is that all the 2A people are pro-israhell and turn a blind eye to the truth about the jew.

Is it the 'Jews' in the room advocating for Gun Control that we should be worried about? Or is it the MILLIONS of Patriotic Americans (Police, Military, Fellow Slaves) who are under MIND CONTROL and will actually listen to, follow and carry out the scribbles from Politicians?
I want you to honestly tell me which group poses a bigger threat to you, your family and your property.
Is it more important to know who is trying to enslave you, or is it more important to resist them no matter who they are?
Since this post wasnt 100% anti-Jew, Bash away! LOL

If it ever gets to the point I need to bury my guns I sure as hell am not going to do it on my property. I will however bury a bunch of scrap metal.

Those proposals are asinine. That is far worse then Canadian gun laws. Hopefully Californian residents with any sense will move to more pro gun pro freedom states.

Anyone that knocks down a good salary in CA will succumb to any laws thrown at them.
Many have families there and won't leave them either.
Only people with no roots, looking for greener pastures will leave. Not because of any laws.

That's why I said with any sense. It is getting to the point where it isn't about the money any more. Any financial advantage or comfort there might be will mean diddly squat when that entire state goes tits up due to financial miss management and illegal immigrants.
Better to move now while things are calm and some people still think the overpriced, overtaxed homes still have value. Wait until STHF and it will be too late.

#1. It's always about the money!
