It's coming up on the 20-year anniversary.... but other than that, it's irrelevant.

The comments are outstanding by the way. Talking trash about the ATF, and the person who wrote the article. People are FINALLY waking up.
Here's just a small sample of the comments from that article.
Remember Ruby Ridge??

The sickest or one of the sickest parts when things like this happen is when people like Tim sit in thier safe little places enjoying thier welfare lives and cheer them on.

Tim and his ilk are vile, cowardly creatures.

I can also see that "Tim" was "educated" in a government school.

yes the atf paid him to cut a shotgun barrel short and then went to arrest him for manufacture of a sawed off shotgun
but decided to do it rambo style and killed his wife and kid
he beat the charges by citing entrapment

Not even going to read the article. I recall the incident very clearly. The ATF had every opportunity in the world to wait for Koresh to come out and do a normal, simple arrest. The ATF got exactly what they went looking for, a bloody battle which cost many innocent children their lives, now they want sympathy from me when they killed a bunch of innocent children attempting to show us all what will happen when they come for our guns? FaQu ATF!

I didn't see anything in the article, what was David Koresh and his group's crime...other then they didn't comply?

I guess it stemmed from the search warrant they were there to execute, that's the first I'd heard they had M-60s, grenades and a .50 cal though, even in some of the available video I've never heard what sounded like automatic fire and IF they had grenades, seemed like they would've used them, I never saw evidence of that either, sounds like bullshit to me, Reno & Clinton have blood on their hands for that

Initially they were looking for any excuse possible to conduct the raid, from running a meth lab* (allegedly had been one there prior to Koresh assuming leadership but once he was there he supposedly turned the lab equipment into the SO), to child abuse (sexual), to converting ARs into M-16s. The ultimate purpose of the raid was to show CONgresscritters that their budget needed to be increased since the countryside was overrun with groups of bad guys with guns just like the Branch Davidians.
*the only way to get military helicopters from Ft. Hood in on the action (per the statutes) was to make the claim there were drugs involved, proving yet again that LEOs will lie (big surprise) in order to 'complete their mission'

The only heroes in our government are the whistle blowers, and they have been beaten into submission.
The victors write the history, next time you see this story ol David will probably have had fully automatic weapons and grenade launchers.
This really goes with today's story of the drone search for Dorner, COMPLY OR DIE.
