Due to there being another legitimate claim to the Seat of the King. The claimant for that Seat lived in South Australia and passed away in June 2012. He has 2 Grandsons who are now his rightful successors to the throne. The throne of the King or the seat of power rests in Wales.

Elizabeth cannot field a male heir (Kings). As a result she only has female heirs (Queens). All of her female heirs are Catholic and under the Setllement Act 1701 (UK) she is forbid from fielding a Catholic. All her heirs are Catholic.

As a result of this, they are hurriedly changing the Statutes (including constitutions) of the Commonwealth to allow catholics to ascend the throne. Australia is the only Commonwealth country that has a referendum requirement before the constitution can be changed. We are preparing to go to referendum in the next 12 - 18 months to deal with this.
