‘SNL’ Lands in Hot Water With Anti-Defamation League Over Hagel Sketch (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/02/11/snl-lands-in-hot-water-with-anti-defamation-league-over-hagel-sketch.html)

Feb 11, 2013 7:48 PM EST An unaired sketch, posted online by NBC, lampoons the Defense secretary nominee’s Senate grilling—and, the ADL’s Abraham Foxman tells Lloyd Grove, reinforces the notion that Israel controls the government.

"...Foxman was far blunter in an interview with The Daily Beast, calling the sketch “overdone and overdone and overdone. It focuses on the issue of Israel to such a ridiculous extreme that we do become concerned because there is a claim out there that America’s a tool of the Israelis.” He added: “It sort of reinforces the pernicious notion of Jewish control over this government ... that Israel controls the Senate.”

The ADL’s public opinion surveys “indicate that 30 percent of the American people believe that American Jews are more loyal to Israel than the United States,” Foxman said. “That’s an anti-Semitic canard…The same percentage of people in the United States believe that the Jews killed Christ.”

Foxman—who in January raised concerns (http://www.adl.org/press-center/press-releases/miscellaneous/adl-statement-on-nomination.html) about Hagel’s past reference to “the Jewish lobby” and his positions on Israel and Iran—insisted: “We have a sense of humor and we understand that classic satire is where you poke fun.” But he suggested that SNL’s Hagel sketch should never have been staged—“How did it get this far?”—nor should it have been posted on the Internet.

It makes no difference, he said, that Michaels and many of the show’s writers and staffers happen to be Jewish. “That doesn’t excuse their insensitivity and their playing on stereotypes and selling stereotypes and forcing stereotypes,” he said..."

Kind of funny since the produce of SNL is a member of the tribe.

The whole point of comedy is that there is no political correctness.

This will only backfire on them by making light of it. It was originally censored from airing, but everyone and their dog is going to want to watch it now.

Only 30%? Obviously the other 70% aren't paying attention. Anti-semitic to have an opinion based on facts? Fuck you Abe. And BTW, let's be real clear here: the Jews did kill the Christ. They charged him with blasphemy, petitioned the Roman authorities to charge him with sedition and any other false charge they could dredge up, pressured the Roman Governor into a trial, and forced the Governor's hand, voting to release a convicted murderer and thief Barabus in exchange for the brutal torture and crucifixion (execution) of an innocent man. No matter how you Jews spin it, that's what went down and the documents proving it are irrefutable. Can't deal with your collective guilt? Tough. You own it and the world will never forget it.

who does the ADL think killed Christ ?

perhaps the Roman soldiers that tortured and killed him were not Jewish, but they followed the instructions of the Jews.

as usual, the Jews got other people to do their killing for them.
