The border collies are the smartest of all dogs. In the last fifteen years I've been around some of the top dog handlers in this country and Europe and the borders and their handlers are amazing!

Agreed they're extremely intelligent dogs, but keep in mind people it all comes down to the trainer. Training a dog is an art form and it takes a certain personality type to do it correctly and with the least amount of compulsion. Great video.
