Knuckle bones from a butcher, boil them for 15 minutes. You should get them for free, but you might have to pay 2 bucks. Also great at cleaning a dogs teeth.

I was buying his treats fro Wally's but then I found the ones at the dollar store that he just loves...must be dead chinaman ground meat, or something.............first thing that he does when I go outside is to eye search my hands to see if I am holding anything for him.......danm pig.

Home made dog treats that they really like:


2 eggs
1/2 C pumpkin
2 T Dry Milk
1/4 t salt
2 1/2 C rice flour but can use wheat flour
1 t Dry Parsley

oven 350
whisk egg and pumpkin, stir in dry milk, salt, parsley.
add flour gradually
Roll dough 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick (dawgs prefference)
cut with cookie cutter or anything handy to shape
put on ungreased cookie sheet and cook 20 min and then turn over and cook 20 more.

Dogs love them.
