'Master' has morphed into 'Mister' (or Mr.) as a title (see RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS thread).

interesting. I'm struggling with the part about slavery. I'm not sure what is being said there. Wondering what's your angle on what is being said there?

My guess? When all the slaves are freed and assume the title 'master' there is a diminution ... same thing that happens when the printing presses go crazy pumping out fiat money.

Ok so the value of the slaves went down? Orginally I read that as being derived from Dominion. A bit off the mark there.

Issue hasn't been resolved yet. I don't consider myself any sort of expert in Roman history.
