Our future jailers?
==========================

uniformed services or as civilian service in a Federal, State, or local government program or with a community-based agency or community-based entity, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, to provide for the registration of women under the Military Selective Service Act, and for other purposes.”

Not only are the wars currently taking place around the world totally inhumane and illegitimate, but the very concept of conscription is nothing more than slavery, forcing someone to do something against their will.

Not only that but a mandatory draft would put people into a dangerous situation and force them to kill against their will.

With no end in sight for the wars across the Middle East and now Africa, it should be no surprise that bringing the draft back would definetly be on the agenda.

They may be able to dress up the language and make it seem like its no big deal, but a bill of this nature could certainly be used to force unwilling people into war in foreign lands that they have no desire in fighting.

Although, this will probably be targeted mostly at developing auxiliary citizen police forces to suppress people at home, at least for now anyway

City Year Name and Logo

The City Year name and logo embody the founding ideals and principles of City Year.

City Year Name

http://www.cityyear.org/uploadedImages/CityYear/HQ_Photo_Library/Name%20City%20Year.gif
The name “City Year” reflects the idea that just as young people enroll in a freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior year at school, so too should they be challenged to dedicate themselves to a “city year” of full-time service, idealism, civic engagement, and leadership development.

City Year Logo

The Circles symbolize community and equality. The outer circles signify an inclusive and welcoming community. Whose community? Looks like all the other socialist images... Like Obummers logo

The Lettering Style recalls the Civilian Conservation Corps of the 1930s, the predecessor of today’s national service movement.

The Sunburst symbolizes the release of energy, idealism, and human potential with young people as the catalyst. Look at the next one

The Inner Red Sun represents energy, idealism, and a warming force. Says basically the same as above.

http://www.cityyear.org/uploadedImages/CityYear/HQ_Photo_Library/Compass%20Points.gif
The Compass Points showing the four cardinal directions (north, east, south, and west) reflect the Native American belief that the meeting point of four directions is a gathering place.

http://www.cityyear.org/uploadedImages/CityYear/HQ_Photo_Library/The%20colors.gif
The Colors symbolize the rainbow of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences that come together at City Year to work for the common good. OK where is the white culture?

http://www.cityyear.org/uploadedImages/CityYear/HQ_Photo_Library/Seven%20Triangles.gif
The Grouping of Seven Triangles in each segment represent the days of the week and the Native American proverb that with every major decision we should consider the impact on the next seven generations.

http://www.cityyear.org/uploadedImages/CityYear/HQ_Photo_Library/Four%20Segments.gif
The Four Segments represent the four seasons.

The Twelve Yellow Triangles represent the months of the year.

What a bunch of BS.... Their attempt to veil the commie/socialist glint to their message isnt working. I looked but did not see if they get any type of pay for this? If they are they will have a huge group as their are few new jobs out their for all of the recent grads.

"Persons" to control other "persons". No real men or women need apply to either category for a "person" is 1) a word 2) an action or 3) representation. A "person" is itself a control word intended to make you believe you are one.

They were discussing the draft on the local talk station and I called in, arguing against the draft on the grounds that it is philosophically no different than slavery. This boggled the mind of the host, who countered with, "what about world war II?" What did he expect me to say, "oh well, in world war II slavery was ok". LOL
