Boy, I am so relieved that they haven't outlawed stupidity. However you don't have the right to be smart. They persecute constitutionalists, preppers, and now people who own guns for self defense. Maybe in America you have an expectation by the elite that you be stupid. Bravo Mr Kerry! What a refreshing continuity from the Hillary regime.

He could have worded that a lot better. It's like George bush lite.

While funny, he's actually wrong. Being stupid isn't a right because most stupid things people do are banned. Stupid people do stupid things and are often a danger to themselves and everyone around them.

For example, you can't go play in traffic. That's illegal (and quite stupid). You can't commit suicide, which is the most stupid thing anybody could ever do.

Society would be better if stupid people had a right to be stupid. Let them play in traffic. Let Darwin's theory be unleashed, and the group as a whole, will be stronger in most likely a relatively short amount of time. Instead though, stupid people don't have a right to be stupid, there's laws to protect them from themselves...also, we put them on food stamps and other .gov assistance programs. Stupidity is just contained.

Here's the definition of stupid:

stu·pid (stpd, sty-)
adj. stu·pid·er, stu·pid·est
1. Slow to learn or understand; obtuse.
2. Tending to make poor decisions or careless mistakes.
3. Marked by a lack of intelligence or care; foolish or careless: a stupid mistake.
4. Dazed, stunned, or stupefied.
5. Pointless; worthless: a stupid job.

that is, his stupidity protected him from an awareness of his own stupidity.

Its like I've been saying all along...

It's seems like he tried to associate with his audience (assuming they would agree with him) by saying freedom includes the ability to have vastly opposing (or stupid) opinions, but he didn't convey it very well. He didn't provide any examples, so it left the interpretation vague.

Hey now Hoss. The only reason it's illegal to commit suicide is because you can no longer be bonded to the system. It's not about your welfare, it's about the states money. Keep this in mind. These fuckers add in an additional 8 percent in the budget every year. We're just numbers on a fucking balance sheet that never balances.

FYI - If I'm sick of this world, it's my own right to take my life. That's my own business.

That's a good point, but we can still go bankrupt in the system. I know, the very day I was born, my whole life's expected earnings were immediately spent, and in the system, the rest of my life is spent trying to service this debt.

If I committed suicide, that would fuck up their whole plan of my indebted servitude.

Hey knucklehead, don't commit suicide on us though. This forum wouldn't be as bright and sunny without your sunshine attitude. Plus, I'd be less a friend.

Me, suicide myself? While I do sincerely appreciate your concern, but WTF are you talking? I'm a God damn Catholic for Christs sake. I've been fighting this jew world order for close to a decade and to think about checking out before the fireworks go off. That's like jacking off before prom night. Love ay brother.

Not to mention the family members that died fighting the communists etc. Man I got a cool linage. I wouldn't embarrass my family, EVER.

I'm Catholic too General. I'd never embarrass my family, I'd lay my life down for them.

It's crazy. We are at some wild crossroad in life, in time, right now. I know I can handle myself in stressful situations. Also being single, no dependents. I wonder when the day will come when I get called up for this reason.

I really think the best we can do is stay on top of things, as they unfold.

Suicide can also be committed slowly, as is the case with most latent appliance fetishists.

Sheldon: Why are you crying?
Penny: Because I'm stupid!
Sheldon: Well that's no reason to cry; one cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid and it makes me sad.
