Our government is so ridiculously stupid, I am sure alot of you know when you get a government contract you charge twice as much as you would for any other private contract, and they pay it happily.

Wow, this is blind arrogant American exceptionalism at its best:
“We are spending money we don’t have,” Mr. Bloomberg explained. “It’s not like your household. In your household, people are saying, ‘Oh, you can’t spend money you don’t have.’ That is true for your household because nobody is going to lend you an infinite amount of money. When it comes to the United States federal government, people do seem willing to lend us an infinite amount of money. … Our debt is so big and so many people own it that it’s preposterous to think that they would stop selling us more.”
Applying this same logic in 2006, house prices can only go up.

Didn't the US, and every other major country in the world go bankrupt in 1933? It did according to this:
http://www.usavsus.info/UCC-applied.htm
And they never bothered to tell us about it. In 1999 Jim Trafficant made a speech about it on the floor of the House of Representatives, and they subsequently threw him in jail on fraudulent corruption charges.
Doesn't anybody in this country read any history? Or is it all bunk?
Did you notice the hubris in Bloomberg's statement--'...people do seem willing to lend us an infinite amount of money.' What he left out was that the closer we get to an infinite amount of money, the more we will be like Zimbabwe, or 1922 Germany. I wonder if all our political 'leaders' believe this kind of horseshit?

the fact this country has be in receivership is made clear by somebody like this and they only throw him in jail, wow guess they couldn't just suicide him. i was looking into offsetting debt a while back. the banks do it every night , any red that in on the books is zeroed out. i know someone who did this with an irs tax issue. took a check from a closed bank account wrote the amount that was owed to the irs wrote not for deposit for offsetting debt only and sent it to the fuckers- no more debt. there were some people that were doing a seminar about this, it started build a following and then they kinda fell of the radar. i wonder what happened with it. i will see if i can find any info on it again
