I agree with most of his points, which mainly cover big nuclear (I don't necessarily agree about his emphasis on anthropogenic global warming). There are some counter points:

1. thorium;
2. modular nuclear power plants;
3. New technology (i.e., the anti-PeakOil, etc.).

I could see nuclear fitting into one of his last points- distributed power generation using portable nuclear power generators (thorium or uranium).

I am not sure why you put this under "good news", but I guess we have some disagreement over nuclear power! :)
