This is getting a little creepy.
According to one estimate, since last year (http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2013/02/homeland-security-now-armed-with-enough-ammo-for-24-year-long-iraq-war/) the Department of Homeland Security has stockpiled more than 1.6 billion bullets (http://news.investors.com/politics-andrew-malcolm/020813-643707-obama-homeland-security-vast-ammunition-purchases.htm), mainly .40 caliber and 9mm.
DHS also purchased 2,700 Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles (MRAP).

Modern Survival Blog (http://modernsurvivalblog.com/government-gone-wild/latest-homeland-security-vehicle-street-sweeper/) reported:

The Department of Homeland Security (through the U.S. Army Forces Command) recently retrofitted 2,717 of these ‘Mine Resistant Protected’ vehicles for service on the streets of the United States.
Although I’ve seen and read several online blurbs about this vehicle of late, I decided to dig slightly deeper and discover more about the vehicle itself.
The new DHS sanctioned ‘Street Sweeper’ (my own slang due to the gun ports) is built by Navistar Defense (NavistarDefense.com), a division within the Navistar organization. Under the Navistar umbrella are several other companies including International Trucks, IC Bus (they make school buses), Monaco RV (recreational vehicles), WorkHorse (they make chassis), MaxxForce (diesel engines), and Navistar Financial (the money arm of the company).
DHS even released a video on their newly purchased MRAPs.
Via Pat Dollard (http://patdollard.com/2013/02/dhs-mrap-combat-vehicle/):

The MRAP featured in this video is was in Albuquerque, New Mexico for Law Enforcement Day which was held at a local area Target Store. This MRAP is stationed in El Paso, Texas at The Homeland Security Investigations Office. MRAP is a Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicle (http://www.youtube.com/redirect?q=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2F MRAP&session_token=th4s5IbrQ_JtwX3FKg0sbG_Jc7d8MTM2MjM3 OTcwOUAxMzYyMzY1MzA5).

The first weak spot is when the people are getting in, or out of this vehicle...and where they go home.

No license plate shown.

According to recent testimony from Highway Patrol the driver of this vehicle will never be stopped for a seat belt violation or failure to use a child restraint seat.

Patriot Act + Humongous NSA center in Utah + NDAA + 2 Billion Bullets purchased by DHS + 2700+ Mine-sweepers.

AND - on 9-11, the US gov. deliberately sacrificed 3000+ Gentiles to kick-start their "New American Century".

This is what Civil War looks like.

This is what Martial Law looks like.

The US gov. is just doing an end-run around Posse Comitatus, by implementing military bases under the guise of DHS & related organizations like FEMA.

This is why rescue is painted on these tanks. They are intended to rescue DHS from all of us citizens.

they should show up on Google Earth.

unless the US gov. pays Space-Eye or whoever they get their images from to edit out the tanks.

Google doesn't want to lose their airplane parking spot at NASA Ames. i'm sure they will co-operate.

i wonder where they're going to put the tanks. allocate them roughly according to population density ?

i'm pretty sure these run on gas.

my hunch about subjects like not drilling in ANWR & developing domestic oil reserves is that, the plan is, the US military has allocated that oil to themselves, and the environmental business is just a smoke-screen. the oil being for, so they can run their MRAP's, drones, etc.

i wonder if the radiator is the weak spot. just fire a beach ball full of spaghetti and all of a sudden the radiator is clogged, and the engine overheats ?

Exactly. Wolverines will be declared domestic terrorists and hunted by U.S. Government drones paid for with our tax money. Homeland Security didn't order a billion rounds of domestic-use ammo to fight the Ruskies or Chinese.

Today the Wolverines can't even find a single box of .22 ammo at Wal-Mart.

This reminded me of something I read in Cathy O'Briens book "Access Denied". Daddy Bush, Dick Cheney and others liked to play the most dangerous game. They would strip women or children naked, turn them loose and then hunt them. When they found them they would rape them. It was part of the MK Ultra program. These are the type of people who are in control at the top of this country.

I'm an old country boy and I learned along time ago when you go to kill a rattle snake you don't stomp on it's tail you cut it's head off.

Yes.

Most armor ratings for light tanks and IFV's will go up to at least moderate .50 cal, bare minimum AP 30-06/7.62x54r. They are designed specificaly to resist small arms fire, including mines, rockets and RPG's.

However, they are NOT designed to sustain them endlessley. These also likley are not air tight (bring in outside air), leaving the succeptible to airborned irritants andg asses (pepper spray, in LARGe amounts). They also function on line of sight (windows) and a driver. A driver with a gas mask on and windshield totaly obscured with sticky, perhaps even burnt motor oil will leave them only operating via radio.

This is light tanks/IFV's in general, not these specific models. Historicaly, things like Molotov cocktails were originaly invented to forced the shut down of tanks, by either disabling engines or making the interior uninhabitable or taking out the "eyes" of the vehicle.

They get taken out all the itme overseas. They are easy to disable, just harder to kill the occupants than the older humvees. Injury to occupants is stil pretty high. I know a guy personaly that is still going through over 6 months of physical therpay after getting hit with an IED in an MRAP in Afghan. Flipped the whole unit, messed up his leg real bad. Took the MRAP out of the fight, so to speak, without actually destroying it.

However, all of that takes planning and numbers. Coming for an individual holed up in a house or even un armed rioters/protestors they would have a full force of men on foot guarding the vehicle and it would be tough for them to get in close enough without taking some flak themselves. They would have to plan it, be in communication with a team, even a small one, to really and be focused in their objective.

Paint is washable and will be easily removed from windows. They wont get a big set back from paint, hence the oil part. Used or burning motor oil is very sticky and hard wipe off. Even with wipers and washing fluid, it will only make it worse. In fact, if they did that with burning oil, it would make it a LOT worse.

Even with wipers and washing fluid, it will only make it worse. In fact, if they did that with burning oil, it would make it a LOT worse.

Your run of the mill pressure washer will pump used motor oil - just needs to be one with at least a 11 hp engine to have a reasonably effective range.

these MRAP's will be deployed against law-abiding American citizens.

So basically take a wine bottle, fill it up half way with used oil and half way with gas, and put a rag in the top?

Oh, I've no doubt when it comes down to it, there will be plenty of people who think of some really, really clever things ;)

If one were to study the historical application of the anti-tank soldiers during say the Winter War (Finnish War of Independence), one would find that motor oil and diesel fuel were often combined and capped off in the vessel. The rags were actualy wetted in oil themselves and TIED around the bottle or jar and lit. Stuffing a flaming piece of cloth into an incendiary device = not always a good decision.

Of course, there are many variations and the soldiers had no shortage of tweaks and alterations to get their stuff to work better, or in different ways.

Remember though, anytime fire is at play, be it a battlefield or elsewhere, there is always the risk of igniting some un intended thing, which may very well be the soldiers own fortification.

Laundry detergent, or oil, or packing peanuts with gasoline. Cork the bottle and tape these to the sides
Rags are no good

What do police/rescue need with an armored vehicle? This is pretty blatant.

if the MRAP's a-rockin' - don't come a-knockin'.

though i imagine the suspension on these things has some pretty heavy-duty springs. so it would take a lot to get them a-rockin.

I've had a thought about this because of some reading I did recently. It was about an enemy being able to take control of drones if they find the right frequencies. It would be pretty interesting if someone were able to take over a drone they are planing to deploy in this country and take out some of these armored vehicles.

Any one who is able to do so should get as close to this vehicles as you can and, if possible, get hold for the expects of the same.....everything has a "weak' spot and you should try to find out which ones are the ones here......ones this is done they think which way is the best way to knock it out.............be ready today for tomorrow.

First post of the day.......good morning to one and all.

A big a** forklift or a bulldozer. Perhaps a flaming tire jammed in the right spot. It does look like a beast and there is no reason in the world for police departments to have such a vehicle.

Urushiol to the rescue !

Urushiol is the active ingredient in Poison Oak.

"Urushiol is a pale-yellow liquid with density of 0.968 and a boiling point of 200 °C (392 °F). It is soluble in alcohol, ether, and benzene.[3] Urushiol is a mixture of several closely related organic compounds. Each consists of a catechol substituted with an alkyl chain that has 15 or 17 carbon atoms. The alkyl group may be saturated or unsaturated. The exact composition of the mixture varies depending on the plant souce. Whereas western poison oak urushiol contains chiefly catechols with C17 side-chains,[4] poison ivy and poison sumac contain mostly catechols with C15 side-chains. The likelihood and severity of allergic reaction to urushiol is dependent on the degree of unsaturation of the alkyl chain. Less than half of the general population reacts with the saturated urushiol alone, but over 90% react with urushiol containing at least two degrees of unsaturation (double bonds). Longer side chains tend to produce stronger reaction.[5] This suggests that the allergic contact dermatitis is caused by Van der Waals forces.[5] "

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urushiol

So, you just need some poison oak seeds, and poison oak leaves, and some cheap vodka ... and a biohazard suit - and a breathing line because you don't want to inhale the fumes.

use the vodka / alcohol to extract the urushiol. then hot vodka/ poison oak balloons fired at the MRAP breathing air-vents - hot would probably work better than cold.

the freedom-usurpers inside won't get much work done that day.

"These are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which kings resort. I ask, gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission? Can gentlemen assign any other possible motive for it? Has Great Britain any enemy, in this quarter of the world, to call for all this accumulation of navies and armies? No, sir, she has none. They are meant for us; they can be meant for no other."

but it doesn't say anything about burning 1/2 pound of high-grade Sinsemilla inside the US gov. thug's vehicle, while blocking the air-ducts and tying the doors shut.
