So I bought a rifle from Bass Pro and got a call from them that the DOJ put me on a delay.
They gave me the DOJ # to call to clear this up but it is busy 24/7.
I dialed it well over 500 times the past few days.
I have no idea why they would put me on hold...no tickets, warrants, etc.
I guess I will have to go get a refund!!!
Anyone have this happen before?

i've been put on delay twice for handguns. no idea why, i called the number and basically answered the same questions as on 4473. went back to the store and they recalled it in, fixed. i think they randomly do it is all i can figure.

Would you consider this to be an 'infringment'?

Happened to me once back when, they held approval for abt a week. My dealer said if they did not call back in 4 or so days he could go ahead and sell me the rifle. This was while the the D.C sniper shit was going on. iirc

I have no way of contacting the DOJ though...phone is either off the hook or they got some slow ass employees milking the clock.

It's that dang sequester. Slowing everything down- just like Obama "predicted".
