February 28, 2013 I have to say this is the strangest thing I have ever written. It’s like a piece of cotton candy, it all kind of sticks together but there is nothing at its core…
The CDC (http://www.cdc.gov) (Center for Disease Control) has sent scientists to Los Angeles to try and find out where the current outbreak of tuberculosis started, and to try an isolate those affected by it before the outbreak becomes widespread. They have so far identified some 4650 people who have been exposed.

The outbreak is believed to have started in Skid Row and shelters are urging the homeless to get tested. TB is not limited to the homeless and the hard up however, and with downtown LA attracting visitors to its cheap hotels there are fears that the outbreak will spread.
The Cecil Hote (http://www.thececilhotel.com)l is one such place where the cheap rates and no reservation needed policy makes it attractive to visitors. The Cecil though has a few secrets it may not want to tell its guests about.

... [lots of stuff happened at the Cecil over the years]

Moving forward to this month, the decomposing body of Elisa Lam (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2282629/Elisa-Lam-Canadian-tourists-autopsy-inconclusive.html) was found in a water tank at the Cecil. Guests staying at the hotel had complained about dark colored tainted water coming out of their faucets.

The 2005 movie “Dark Water” (http://movies.about.com/od/darkwater/a/darkwater070705.htm) centers around a hotel where a decomposing body is found in the water tank. The name of the main character is Dahlia and her daughters name is Cecilia.

As for the TB cases, where do they fit into all this? Well, the test being used to check for the disease is the Lam Elisa test. (http://www.mmrp.org/projects/clinical-trials/diagnostics-medical-devices/rapid-antigen-detection.html)
They say fact is often stranger than fiction….

Rapid Direct Antigen Test for Tuberculosis (http://www.mmrp.org/projects/clinical-trials/diagnostics-medical-devices/rapid-antigen-detection.html) Coordinator: C. Boehme PhD
Lab Coordinator: M. Gerhardt PhD
Lab Coordinator: S. Dufke

"...Together with a company that developed a prototype rapid direct antigen immunoassay detecting the presence of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in clinical specimens such as urine, blood and sputum, we want to explore the sensitivity and specificity in an African clinical setting. Immunological assays detecting directly TB antigens or antibodies against TB have been identified as most promising candidates to substitute and complement smear testing.

In a first clinical evaluation the LAM assay has proven to have a high sensitivity and specificity in 231 patients with suspected pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) and 103 healthy volunteers were screened with standard TB tests and with the new LAM-ELISA. Of 132 patients with confirmed pulmonary mycobacterial disease (positive sputum culture), 106 were positive using the LAM-ELISA (sensitivity 80.3%). In comparison, the sensitivity of acid-fast bacilli (AFB) sputum microscopy was 62.1% (82 of 132 confirmed cases)..."

That is some trippy shit. I work about two blocks from that hotel and remember walking back from lunch the day the body was discovered. The street was all closed off and about ten or so fire trucks were there. I thought it was just a jumper and this is also the jumping capital of LA as well. Lots of suicides around here.

The Elisa test also have other tests that check if you have food intolerance. If you have more than 5 you will have cronic disease that can't be cured by US med industry. These tests are freely available to purchase in many countries. There are also offshoots of the same tests branded by other companies and some are available to test yourself at home. Once you find your intolerance you simply avoid that food(s) and your health regains.

Amazing how a simple little test can change the outcome of your life.

Oh... guess what. You can NOT get these in the USI, they are not FDA approved and you cant even have them mailed to you from another country, simply banned.

So WTF does this have to do with the OP? If your body wasn't already in trouble with any intolerance the chance of you catching TB is very very small.

Free country man, enjoy!

Reminds me of Lifestraw.

Thirdworld countries use it all the time and they literally cost 2or 3 dollars to make

Banned from import the only thing you can get is a expensive berkey et al
