Nothing but sunny skies for the economy

didn't take long for the raid to begin.

any positive economic news is now portrayed as a reason to stop QE.

this Cartel raid started at the instant the news came out, 8:30 Eastern time. very impressive, but not in a good way.

i think the Cartel is trying to get the Gold price into the $1400's, so that $1600 is seen as a "high" price, to sort of "re-calibrate" everybody's price expectations.

i would like to see the contract that paper buyers sign when they participate in these raids. i would guess there is a "Weasel option" so the sellers can settle for cash & not deliver physical.

You sure it's a cartel raid? Maybe investors are fleaing GLD and SLV for better investments in stocks?

You sure it's a cartel raid?

yes.

it started precisely at 8:30 AM Eastern, well before most West Coast investors were even awake. and at the exact time of the pseudo-news announcement regarding the jobs pseudo-numbers.

also, at this point, there's very few short-term investors left. those "weak hands" who were going to flee have already flown.

also, re. margin call induced selling - not much of that going on, with the stock market at an all time nominal high.

i thought the interview with John Embry was good. he talks about how "he's never seen this before", referring to people giving up on Gold & Silver.

People on welfare aren't counted as being officially unemployed so, when you see those numbers drop then you might assume a jobs recovery is in progress.

Either that or those on welfare are dying off...

Who counts people on welfare? Do you think the government, or Wall Street cares about them?

Mamboni bought 10 Monster Boxes ?

whoever it was, always nice to see someone calling the Cartel's bluff.

unless it was the Cartel doing the buying.

imagine being an insider and being able to make 1% on your money every single trading day. Assuming 5 trading days per week, 250 per year, that puts you up 1100% (to 12 times where you started) after 1 year.

I am starting it think we are near the floor and the cartel is beginning to load up. Unemployment to 7.7 should be terrible news for gold (yeah it is all bs but..) it is getting pretty close to the 6.5 target for the fed to stop QE. So if this news ends up resulting in higher gold? What does that tell us?

More likely it's the people who have been unemployed so long they're "no longer in the labor force", and not counted. The longer this stagnant economy drags on, the lower unemployment will get, because from this point on, every month the people who have been looking for jobs for 13 months get booted from the count, meaning if more people drop from the labor force than new jobs are created, presto unemployment goes down! Of course, these people are still willing and able to work and looking for work, but they aren't counted because it makes the government look bad.

The only reason the unemployed sound like they are even cared about, is so they don't get even more angry and kill the elite.

There's more money in the economy then ever in history...just in fewer hands. The whole economy can run just fine by the people with all the money.
The new economy doesn't need everyone working anymore and the jobs aren't there anyway.

In the new economy, if you want to work in a great low paying job...do something that caters to the uber-rich.
Jobs include building super yachts, mega-mansions, private jets, million dollar plus autos, providing security to protect the elite's money and possessions, services for the rich, bar tenders, cleaning toilets and homes, butlers, nannies, property/lawn care.

Maybe if you're lucky you'll even get a nice uniform with a name tag!

This economy is in a depression. The economic numbers coming out of DC and the FED are a total sham and fake job. Every business day, 260 days per year, the FED creates out of thin are $4.5 billion in new money that never existed before. It uses this new money to buy stocks and toxic assets that no one in the "free" market wants. If not for this daily morphine injection, the stock markets would be decling or crashing. To give you some idea of how much $4.5 billion is, consider that the FED could purchase the entire silver bullion inventory held at the COMEX, both registered and eligible, and have a few $billions to spare. Just one day's worth of FED money creation could buy up the entire silver bullion inventory! The economy and the markets are a total sham. Walk down Main Street and observe the numerous deserted store fronts. Talk to business owners and hear the fear in their voices as they worry over declining reciepts, increasing expenses, and disappearing margins. Go to the malls and see the hollowed out crowds and lots of looking but no buying. How long can this go on? Who knows.

Everything you've stated caters to the common man, aka. slave class, aka. useless eaters. Don't worry, money will be printed to provide welfare for those people to keep them calm.
Luxury is selling like a mofo...there's another world out there and we ain't in it.

These numbers are from the sequester a few days ago when they booted people off unemployment and food stamps. Just like the banks clearing the books of foreclosures. Nothing to see here, move along.

Not much longer will Food Stamps function as riot control. The jews at Homeland Security recently ordered their BILLION rounds of ammo for domestic use because they plan on ending goyim welfare.

Put all unemployed in labour camps, and voila unemployment disappears. I am sure there are many roads that haven't been toothbrushed yet...
